Someone tagged my vile homunculus inheritance post saying before they saw the context they thought it was about designer babies or people who insist on having a BIOLOGICAL child instead of adopting and then they saw the context and realized it was fantasy world-building for gay royalty.

And I don’t wanna put that person on blast but the secret is that fantasy world-building IS and SHOULD BE also commentary on things. Of course my post about making a homunculus and expecting it to be the exact child you want is about designer babies. It’s also about disability, and queerness, and anything else that affects how a child will differ from their parents’ imagined ideals.
