PSA for New Users/Blank Blogs/Ageless Blogs

If you keep getting blocked from content creator blogs there are three major reasons and ways to fix them.

🚩🚩🚩This is a Huge RED flag!🚩🚩🚩

1. Update your avatar. Anything besides the default picture.

2. Update your blog title and description. Add your age range, Minor, or 18+ to the blog title/description. "Untitled" is a red flag that you are a bot. Something as simple as "Here for the fanfic!" will do it.

3. Reblog or post something to let us know you aren't just a bot. You can reblog the potato of luck or make a post that just says "Human. Please don't block me!"

Please respect others' boundaries. If a blog says they are 18+, don't follow them if you are a minor. If a blog posts things you aren't interested in, unfollow or block them.

Most of all, be kind. Kindness costs nothing and means everything.

kind of wanna reinforce this here. because i’ve seen ai writing become so popular on tik tok.

ai writing is not okay.

it’s literally theft. just like how ai art steals, ai writing steals. it’s using authors’ very real work to generate whatever you type in. and this also needs to be said as well.

writing is a form of art. fanfiction is a form of literature.

seeing this all over my fyp is REALLY discouraging. fanfic itself is already a labor of love and we love it when you interact. but please do not use ai writing for your fanfic needs when this writing literally steals from fanfic authors.

First, don't apologize. You've given us so much in a short amount of time and we will always be grateful for that. There is nothing to be sorry for. You're a person with your own needs and life - we understand and respect that. Anyone who doesn't can just screw off.

Second, my advice? Take a break. As a creator myself burnout is a real problem. Though I might be biased I would say this blog is worth it. I feel like the community that's been created here is a really cool one. It appears to have actively inspired people to create their own content. I know it has for me. However, it's important to make sure one specific project doesn't dominate your life. So yeah take a week or two off then come back to see how you feel.

And/Or if you want to do something to where you're still actively working on your writing while not overexerting yourself: You can set up a goal where you write 100 words a day or complete one request/story a week. Something to that effect. That way you're still making progress, but not in a... burn-out(?) way.

Anyways sorry if I overstepped my boundaries here. I just thought I'd offer some advice on this subject - I personally do the goal of a specific word count a day. No matter what though do what's best for you.💖
