just a heads up for all writers out there!

I was recently told AO3 is currently being plagued by bots that comment on people’s works and falsely claim their fics were AI generated. and I can see how vile and discouraging hearing that is for authors who put so much time, effort and dedication into creating their fics.

now listen to me, if you ever get a comment like this on your work, please please please please know that they’re most definitely bot who comments the same thing on dozens of people’s works at random without ever reading the works. at all. they just copy and paste the same script onto random fics, any fic they come across.

they’re bots with malicious intentions, and they most certainly want you to lose motivation and/or delete your works. DON’T GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT.

if you ever get a comment like this, just delete the comment and/or report it to AO3.

remember that their comments don’t mean your works look “AI generated”. it only means these bots come across your fic and leave the same copy and pasted comment on it like they do to other writers.

don’t let them make you question yourself. they’re nothing but spam bots. YOU are a writer and you are fucking awesome.

Not sure if perhaps you’ve lost interest in kimset but as a fan of how you write do you think you have any ideas for future projects if kimset ends up discontinued? I was re-reading kimset the other day and just felt like wow your writing style really is special and so fun to read! Id probably read anything you wrote :)

Awe, Thank you! It still wows me that anyone could be a fan of my writing specifically. English isn't my first language, so I struggled a lot to learn. Before posting Kimset, I had published different fics solely on an old Tumblr account, but I never got the same response. Fast-forward to now, and it absolutely floors me to see the support and kindness I still receive to date.

I will go into a long rant now to answer your other questions! <3

Kimset is not officially discontinued.

The sole reason it is not seeing any progress is due to my health. I know I have mentioned it previously, but I suffer from an autoimmune disorder that inspired Jungkook and his entire viewpoint about grief, passion, and wanting to heal yourself. That being said, my illness cannot be cured. However, fortunately for me, I won't die either. Something I personally struggle with is my forgetfulness. As odd as it sounds, a lot of my English vocabulary feels like it has dwindled. I'm anxious to continue writing on Kimset because I want to deliver at the same writing level as the previous chapters. I know most of this is about me getting mixed up in my own head, and I know including the words such as bombastic, loquacious, or ephemeral isn't going to make me a better writer nor make Kimset a better story. So, I digress; once I get over this mental, self-imposed hurdle, Kimset will be back up and running!

In the meantime, I hope to expand on some other ideas I have, too. I am currently working on a previously mentioned fledging JK x Vampire ot6, but more recently, a vampire JK x werewolf ot6! (Feel free to pick my brain about either)

Hi! I'm glad you like Kimset! Whether or not the next chapter comes out is at this point up to you guys! I've fought, brawled, and chewed on this damn chapter for WAY to long, and it's mostly due to me not feeling like it lives up to the rest. Would you all prefer a weaker chapter but at least an update (finally!), or would you rather wait longer for a potentially better chapter?

Finding out Tannie has passed is so genuinely sad to me. I know one of the "familiars" in Kimset is practically just a talking Tannie. I don’t know if I’ll change that now since it’s a little weird knowing our little fluffball is gone… I’m not sure what to do :(

But there was something about just hearing Seokjin whisper into his hair—a comfort accompanied with a bittersweet nostalgia that teetered between heartache and solace. Disrupting the years of winter that had followed their separation, the loneliness and ache that came with their sparse conversions dwindling and forlorn happy birthday texts. Replacing it all with a heartbreaking, disheveling desperation. 

“Hyung, please. Please, help me make this work again.” Hoseok begged, unable to bear the sheer gravity of his emotions. 

Seokjins hold tightened, arms squeezing him closer. It was pleasant, grounding. “We will.” He spoke with a soft, vulnerable firmness that was hard to disagree with—determination.
