"Nice to meet you in person Magnolia." The witch chuckles, "As you know, I'm Catalina Garza."

Upon hearing that the land was beautiful, she could not help but grin, "Yeah, my grandmother loved it so much that my grandfather bought all this land. Now it got passed down to me."

Her hands were placed on her hips as she mulled over the events that lead to that point. She learned to not be in her head for too long though, especially when guests were present. After all, she was properly raised to be a decent host.

"Would you like to drop your stuff off inside? I have plenty of rooms available if you want to wind down a bit before we get into business." Offers Catalina as she motions to the home. "Was the trip long? I could probably get something whipped up?"

The smile Magnolia greeted her with was simple, uncertain but polite.

"No you're fine.! I should have said I was close but I wasn't too sure if I was at the right place." Her voice drifted as she looked back at the ranch, getting a decent glance at what it had to offer now that she was sure that she had the right place. It was the exciting kind of different, the kind that had her stomach starting to flutter with eagerness.

"Your home is- Oh! Um- It's nice to meet you, I'm Magnolia Hagane." They had talked briefly beforehand, with introductions having already been made, but she felt the need to at least introduce herself once more now that they were talking in person. It was only polite that way.

"Thank you for inviting me to your home. It and the land around is beautiful."

They did say that if you love your job, you never work a day in your life. Catalina could not really say if she agreed with that statement. After seeing Nana talk about her job and essentially feeling the spark of enjoyment, she could see why the phrase was made in the first place. The witch herself enjoyed the exploring aspects of her job, she liked to learn about worlds that existed long before she was even made herself. The paperwork that followed was crummy.

The shift in tone was noted, even as Solomon did his best to give a smile towards the woman. Ears did relax eventually as his tail wagged. Catalina did make note of this supposed standstar. She had more questions but she was willing to hold off on asking more.

Hearing that it would be a lot of walking made the witch arch her brow, "Nana, I go hiking for fun."

She did not like driving cars anyways. It drove partner mad at times, especially with her insistence of walking to certain places.

"I can handle it, I promise." She admits with a thumbs up.

“I really love my job. I think Friends are the most wonderful creatures I’ve ever met and even with everything falling apart I’m very glad to get to work with them. Once you’ve met a few you’ll totally get it. They’re super cute and even if they can be quite a handful.” She turns to the ‘dog’ and bends down to be at eye level with him.

“I’m sure you would be the most adorable Friend, but for now let’s hope you don’t run into any standstar on this trip.” She says before giving a sigh and looking a tad more serious.

“Even if I love my job it is a lot of walking. Are you gonna be okay with that?” She asked suddenly.

Kids had a tendency for seeing her for who she really was. While she had flesh and bone to the eyes of the untrained. With a little more effort, most could easily tell she was not human given her safety measures. For kids? That came naturally, and for some reason they always seemed to trust her almost instantly at times.

"I hope not. Wouldn't want to make her sad over a goodbye." Frowns the witch but eventually her arms do fold, "Though a goodbye doesn't mean it's forever of course."

"I'm sure our paths will cross a few times as long as you keep selling items."

That actually made him grin. It reassured him that despite everything he was still doing well so far. Terra didn't seem unhappy either! Though in his mind he was already trying to figure out what to do once she was a little older. How would she be able to find friends like this? " Thank you...that means a lot to me. Also she really seemed to like you! Hopefully she won't make a fuss about you leaving. " He said with a small chuckle. Terra wasn't one to cry easily so he doubted it. What he didn't doubt was her complaining.

She looked towards the road ahead with a chuckle. Though feeling the silence that followed made her head turn back to him. Hearing that he was hoping he would do everything right made her freeze. Did she accidentally step on a landmine without realizing it?

"Ah..." What was even the right thing to say?

"I um...don't have kids myself." Catalina begins as she tries her best to remedy the feelings he had, "But I'm sure she knows that you love and care for her so much. She's happy and healthy. Most importantly she has you by her side."

"So I think you're doing things quite right so far." The witch offers a hopeful smile. "Besides, you're a team, i'm sure you'll work together in the future to make sure things keep going smoothly right?"

He almost winced at the thought of that. Well it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilites! Terra sometimes had rather strange ideas. Right now he was just glad that she was asleep instead of causing mischief.

" Oh trust me I know. Even as a little baby I could have sworn that her babbling was her attempt at striking a deal with me! " He joked, laughing a little at his own joke. Terra was sure a very lively child! Confident and determined just like....ah.

The mood suddenly shifted as he felt a sense of grief and perhaps doubt overcome him. Was...he doing the right thing?

"...I...just hope I'll do everything right...for once. "

Following the instructions of the girl, she placed the package down as carefully as possible. Stretching followed soon before her hands were placed back at her own hips. At the mention of being tired, there was a pause before she now found herself being presented with kindness.

"Oh! I'm-" There was another pause that came to be. She heard a familiar noise before turning her head towards her companion. Solomon sat upright, eyes almost shimmering as he did his signature crying whimper.

Over dramatic he was. Her eyes rolled before she chuckled, "Alright, I'll take you up on your offer then!"

If anything, she didn't expect a package for her on this day. Given that, it made her wonder what was inside those letters and gifts. That being said...

"These are all for me? Neat! You can put it down there." She gestured her hand, telling the other to place the package at the side.

"You must be tired from delivering this for me. Want something to eat? I've got some rice buns here."

It was that kid she met a while back! They seem to always meet when she had food on hand. Today she had a meal of her own homelands. Even was in mid chew when he had popped up. Solomon rested by her side, belly up without a care in the world.

"Yeah" Catalina answers after finishing off her current mouthful. "They're kinda like meat patties."

That was her best way to explain it. She doubt Razor knew the language of her culture. Did anyone even speak Spanish here? She offers out the meal. Similar to a croquette, but made from yucca and ground beef instead of a filling that was coated with breadcrumbs. The brownish orange color could be off putting to some but that was only cause the yucca dough was seasoned.

"What's that? Is that food?" This wolf boy decided to pop out of the bushes, albeit letting his currently empty stomach take over his instincts and unintentionally pry on someone else's business.

Catalina, do you prefer Pepsi or Coke?

Well these were one of the tamer questions asked of her but she never really thought of it until now. All the soda she usually drank was at room temperature. Her canine teeth were usually sensitive to cold drinks.

"Coke I guess?" It seemed to have the most flavor between the two when warm.

"No problem." Catalina smiled as she observed the sleeping toddler. They sure were cute at that stage, made her miss the chaos from back home. "I used to be pretty wild when I was younger. At least your daughter doesn't bring home wild animals like I used to."

The witch shrugged with her reply. Sure her grandfather had many heart attacks. The last straw was with the bear cubs but she did learn her lesson for the future. The only difference is that she now had horses instead of forest life. The occasional goat and sheep to foster too.

"Besides she's clearly business savvy," She teases with a half smile, "You gotta learn to bargain with her or she'll wear you out when she's older."

Terra squinted, thinking about it very hard. She appreciated being talked to like an adult though! After what felt like minutes, she moved her little hand to accept the pinky promise! Which was kinda hard considering how tiny her hand was. Perhaps detailed movement like that was difficult to her in general? Definitely needed more motoric skills!

" I pwomise Kitty Cat! Bwesides..." She held onto her father again, slowly becoming rather sleepy again.

"..I like pop's cwooking more.." She answered, yawning before actually falling asleep. Mission success! Nimat smiled and made sure that she was comfortable enough.

" Heh...thank you. If it weren't for you, we would be having this discussion all day long. " Nimat said jokingly, but did feel genuinely thankful for it. Raising a kid all by yourself despite being this young was difficult.
