and imagine. just imagine. he gets to the paradise after years and for a twenty something year old his eyes are too haunted and he knows too so he fits right in with the squad.

he keeps his titan ability under wraps. after which I have two stances :

( 1 ) he is forced to use the abilities during a scouting where too many lives are at stake at once. he gets pretty much same treatment but it hurts more bcz scouts trusted him and he turned out to be a monster.

( 2 ) his titan powers don't come to light until like somewhere in s2. like reiner and bertholt need to be stopped and eren tried and failed and someone had to do something and guilt of no doing anything when he had power for years come rushing to him and he scumbs to the guilt. the betrayal accusations are VERY HEAVY in this one.

he did have a panic attack he first time heard of fall of shiganshina bcz of a set of "abnormal intelligent titans"- he was fairly new at that time in scouts so no one really thought much - until same thing happens when he sees female titan for first time.

bcz he knows what they are, he's one of them. kind of. he remembers those hushed conversation about eaten and stuff still and it's haunting.

+ bonus.

there is this one scenario, not really thought through but just imagine sam being one of the warriors. taking over as reiners successor after failed mission of founding titan maybe or something. he grows up thinking his brother is dead, slaughtered for power he didn't even know he had.

he grows up hating titans/eldians for entirely different reasons then standard marley reasons.

note to anyone reading ( other than lia bcz post is between us two okay ) : idea is mine. pls atleast credit me if you write it. anyone of you.

re-imagining dean in aot universe, as one of scouts is my favorite pass time. especially throwing him as shifter pre series timline. for fun and trauma and ✨️ plot reasons ✨️

I like to have him as holder of two titan powers gonna be honest. like both armored AND warhammer.

but if I have to pick one, I'll pick warhammershifter!dean.

Or, hear me out, John was definitely your average asshat that fell for the Marleyan propaganda and thought "My child can only be useful if he serves in the war and it's an honor for him to acquire the warhammer powers." Then proceeds to teach him everything about weapons, training him excessively.

Dean then somehow got ahold of the second titan, maybe the previous shifter was a "traitor" — though he feels immense guilt for killing and eating them 😔

okay no hear me out okay.

john is eldian. mary is like noble marley. ( this sounds like zeke but hear me out okay ) when people find out they drag john away from a mary and the kids.

who outed them? tyburs.

john is one angry man but we knew that. ANYWAYS. he manages to slip away before he becomes titan and shit. he gets his hands on dean.

so he trains dean in hiding in name of "avenging people who came for him and will eventually come for him and his brother."

but marley figures it out this time they get hold of dean and John. the destiny leans to John and he catches the tyburs near the wall, which was super rare.

he manages to free himself before he gets titan juiceᴛᴍ he barely says anything useful but very john stuff to dean before injecting him and pushing him to inside.

dean screams but doesn't hit the ground. for a 11 yr old his titan is decent 12 meters. it's mindless as any other one, only difference is by the time warrior get there, he has already got hold of one the tyburs ( not lara, her predecessor, maybe a older sister ) and eats.

this was gamble on John's end bcz no one knows which tybur is warhammer but dean's luck or bad fortune - depends who you ask - it turns out to be the holder.

and that is how Dean got the war hammer.

first time he used powers he didn't even know how. he was just scared of warriors, his father was nowhere. he wanted his mom.

he heard something along lines of "retain" and "eaten" and it just happens spiked come on their own.

he runs. doesn't no where but he just runs like hell.

Again, I keep saying this, but as much as I love Butch!Dean, something about Girl!Dean performing her femininity the way Dean performs his masuclinity makes me absolutely feral.

She's obsessed with girly things because she think she can use it to her advantage. Bat her pretty eyelashes (and they are very pretty), wear tiny shorts and skirts (paired with combat boots, though).

Huge on the lipgloss, cherry flavored, naturally.

Cherry bubble gum! Oral fixation in general. It's either that or a cigarette.

During high school, she kept drawing tribal tattoos and such onto her arm during class. She was bored. Now she's definitely rocking a couple of sick tats. Tramp stamp for sure.

Whenever she picked up Sam from school and his classmates would swoon over the hot chick in the muscle car, Fem!Dean would give it her all to embarrass her little brother.

She keeps complaining about how her nail polish chips off or how her acrylics break everytime they dig up a grave, but when Sam rolls his eyes and asks her why she won't just keep them short for convenience, she'll flip him off and tell him "So I can slice your neck the next time you ask stupid questions."

Eldest daughter trope hurts even more now. Truly forced into the caretaker role from a young age and somehow it's worse in this scenario.

Fem!Dean's leather jacket is 3 sizes too big on her but if you'll point it out, she'll serve you a knuckle sandwich.

Loves to accessorize with jewelry, especially rings (makes punches all the more effective) and bracelets with protective sigils as charms.

Eyebrow slit because she's hot!

There's an eerie resemblance to Mary, so much so that John couldn't stand looking at her sometimes as she grew up. Like "The Song Remains the Same" for example?? At first glance, Fem!Dean definitely gets mistaken for Mary by everyone during those time travel episodes.

Fem!Dean used to wear her hair longer (in a ponytail during hunts, of course, especially when John's around since he's gonna yap her ear off otherwise about how it'll get in the way). Until she returned from hell, at least. Hair holds memories and after all the torture, she cuts it shorter. Sam doesn't comment on it, just asks if she wants him to give it a cleaner trim.

Give her a couple of years, maybe she'll rock longer hair again after a while.

Still violently bi panicking at any given opportunity. Though after the initial getting flustered, Fem!Dean is just as confident around women. She flirts with girls 24/7.

Misandrist, as in taking the piss out of men constantly. She makes a lot of inappropriate jokes and has a foul mouth and it's always to poke fun at men.

Goes to concerts knowing she'll score the lead singer and the drummer. Good for her.

She's the best at pool, but people underestimate her so badly. She just uses it to her advantage.

Teaches Fem!Cas how to flirt so they can use that tactic during a hunt, but oops, the fake scenario gets too real and Fem!Cas is too good at it for her to not turn bright red.

Fem!Dean and Charlie. Just think about their friendship for a second, they'd be the bestest besties. They'll fangirl over their celebrity crushes together.

Surprisingly crafty and with an eye for detail, too. Whether it's tending to Baby or patching up some clothes, she goes the extra mile to sprinkle some extra care into it. Stitching pentagrams and little hearts into ripped denim, for example.
