श्राद्ध करने वाले पुरोहित कहते हैं कि श्राद्ध करने से वह जीव एक वर्ष तक तृप्त हो जाता है। फिर एक वर्ष में श्राद्ध फिर करना है। विचार करें:- जीवित व्यक्ति दिन में तीन बार भोजन करता था। अब एक दिन भोजन करने से एक वर्ष तक कैसे तृप्त हो सकता है? यदि प्रतिदिन छत पर भोजन रखा जाए तो वह कौवा प्रतिदिन ही भोजन खाएगा।
