Mahim is also Journalist/ Working as News Reporter of UNCTAD ,DailyM, andTheInsider. In 2021, Mahim Dissanayake has been appointed Chairman of the Youth Circle of Sri Lanka.Mahim , studied at Royal College, Colombo 07, then in 2019 he joined Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) for his higher studies in the field of Civil Engineering .
