Last minute reblog, a bravo for this postal identity from Andrew Beardsall. It reminds us that a clean style combined with a great attention to detail (and a pinch of playfulness) is a total winner.

FINAL
As my catalogue comes to life, time for a little recap’ and fill up the last pages of my presentation slide...
Here comes the days of self-disatisfaction, the feeling of starting it all over again. But this feeling is due to evaporate on monday, hopefully.

Catalogue in the making
My brand is now revised and will be turned into a single touch point brand as a business through post ! It will take the form of a catalogue and have DIY projects and tutorials in as well as products to buy (stationery, patterned papers) and tips on how to re-connect with family & friends through direct mail.

test & test
This letter is the second of a line of tests on my idea of a postcard attached with the letter. The postcard will be pre-stamped and detachable for the reader to be invited to reply on-the-spot.
This is part of my manifesto of re-introduction of hand-written mails in people’s everyday life.

Fingerprints and emotional branding seem to get on well with each other. A simple logo can look flat, but printed with the skin it brings textures and hidden details (of the self, the uniqueness). Here is my message: postal mails are personal and uniques, make good use of it and please your receiver.

10-a-day
I gave myself a challenge to find in my house 10 branded objects that are playful and interesting. Here are a few pictures of my findings. I found giving myself field-games very fun and engaging, it also helpd a lot to refocus any project that may drive me nuts.

Failure to communicate
Test of balloon-mail to unknown. Issue: the only pen that would stay on the balloon is permanent, unfortunatly when the ink dries it blows it up.

Artwork
High voltage artwork in the line of pushing the medium/media... I linocut small logotypes and pressed them on my hands and arms and directly pressed my body on the paper. The result is a great visual full of texture. I just feels the way I wanted it to feel... personal, and tactile.
