it has taken me a long time to process everything. it still doesn't feel real if i'm honest. it still feels like he's there, just not giving us content like normal. like any minute now he'll say something in his discord or tweet something again. any minute now he'll pop into a twitch stream and say something, and that maybe he'll upload again some time soon. but i know that won't happen. i know that unfortunately he really is gone.

words cannot describe the impact he had on me. he was a big part of me getting back into writing and art, and i met so many amazing people through the fandom, the fandom he played a big part in me getting into. hes the person who introduced me to minecraft monday, and therefore all these other amazing streamers like the sleepy bois and now those on the smp. i don't remember what my first video was exactly, but i think it was one of his old skyward videos. i had gotten into watching skeppy, and youtube recommended Techno's skyway video to me and i was instantly hooked. instantly, i binged so much of his content, and fell in love with his stuff. from then on, he became one of my biggest sources of comfort. i'd run at any notification from him, always trying to keep up to date with his content, even the crumbs. he made me happy, he made me laugh, and he made me feel comfortable. he genuinely was my comfort streamer. my hyperfixation too for a while.

i'm not sure if i'm actually done crying yet, or if i'm just in another numb stage. the night the video dropped i cried for a solid 5 hours afterwards, staying up till like 6am. i cried to the point i felt physically sick with a really bad headache. i felt kinda stupid for mourning someone i didn't even know personally, but i couldn't help but cry over it. he didn't deserve to go. he was the most genuine, funny, and just overall amazing person i swear i've ever known of. everything i heard about him from other creators were always good and positive, and his content was so funny and comforting to watch. i couldn't believe he was gone just like that.

everyone manages and processes grief and loss in different ways. for me, i relate to Wilbur and Skeppy in this situation. Wilbur, who thought "why is the world still spinning? why is everyone acting normal? don't they know my friend just died?". i just couldnt process that those around me weren't going through the same grief as me. especially now since i've drifted away from the mcyt community and therefore away from its influence, it reallt did feel like everything was moving on without me. i was stuck here, crying and mourning my comfort steamer, while everyone else just went about their day as normal. it reallt is such a weird yet bitter feeling, feeling as if they're bad people for moving on so quickly, even though they never knew him in the first place. i just couldn't process how anything was the same anymore. nothing felt the same. and Skeppy, who described it as "an empty pit in your stomach". i'm not sure if pain is the correct word to describe how i felt, but instead as just this empty feeling. an empty void that haunts me and torments me and doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. a pit that doesn't seem to end and just makes you spiral into darkness. neither of these are great feelings, but grief isn't easy.

i'm not really proofreading this. there is no point in this aside from venting and letting out my feelings. i have cried so much ever since finding out the news. watching his content is funnily enough the only way i stop crying. i'm not yet strong enough to watch his live-streams, though. those feel like hanging out with a friend, the way he'd yell at us (the chat) and make fun of us, and we'd troll him, it was just so nice. i can't bring myself to watch the streams yet, knowing that we'll never get another stream from him again. knowing that we'll never get to "hang out" with our "friend" again. i use those in quotes since i know we didn't know him personally and vice versa, but that's what it felt like at the time. looking back, that's still what those moments felt like. i'd like to think that we (or i at least) love him as much as he loved us. he truly is irreplaceable, and i'll never forget him. he was such a big influence on my attitude toward life, my sense of humor, and so much more. for 3 years, he helped me through so much, and he'll always have a special place in my heart.

it feels weird saying all this considering i've never talked to him personally or anything like that. he was a stranger i enjoyed the content of. still, though, i enjoyed watching him grow. i was there around 500k subs, and followed his journey ever since. i watched him meet all these new people that ended up becoming his friends, i watched his subs and views increase, and i enjoyed every second of it. if i could, i'd join in his journey sooner, and maybe be more active in the community. but oh well, what's done is done, and i don't regret the time i spent watching him. i don't regret the money i spent on him (tho Youtooz ALMOST made me regret it with HOW LONG IT TOOK TO GET MY STUFFFFF). i don't regret it. if Techno chose to be Techno again in another life like he said he'd do, then i'd chose to be his viewer and fan again. there truly is no one like him.

Thank you, Technoblade, for everything you've done for not only me but everyone else and the community. they say someone doesn't die till they're forgotten, and that legends never die, so i guess it really is true that Technoblade never dies. good luck in overtaking the kingdom of god, and i expect to see you sitting on his throne when i die too. so long, nerd.

This is mainly just an AU for fun n fluff

Medieval fantasy AU

Quick summary: Phil is a dragon, born as a Forest Protector, but decides to live the life of a normal human farmer after a few centuries. He soon finds out that the new Forest Protector really likes potatoes, and around this time his mortal friend that has no idea who he truly is brings him an old... friend...

- Philza was born as the first Forest Protector of the Great Mystic Forest and took the form of a dragon

- His job was to protect it from the harm of the human hands, only allowing ones with pure hearts to enter

- He was more respected than feared by the humans, but he still cursed and killed his fair share of humans when he had to

- As time went on, he grew more and more curious about human life and what it was like, so he finally learned to master a human disguise

- He left his life of being a Forest Protector behind and started to live the life of a normal human, which was difficult at first but he got the hang of it

- He soon heard news of a new "ferocious beast" guarding the forest, one that was apparently a lot more brutal than he was

- Part of him wanted to meet the new Forest Protector, but he didn't know how to go about it exactly

- He became a farmer and bought a patch of land that happened to be right next to the Mystic Forest

- He was warned that every person before him had a lot of trouble with the area, mainly with the beast attacking them, their animals, and their crops

- Phil was sure he'd be fine, so he began his farm like normal

- Around harvesting season, Phil woke up one morning to find that all his fields had been tampered with... and his potato field was COMPLETELY raided

- After some investigating, he came to the conclusion that it was the Forest Protector... and he figured that it really liked potatoes

- He started to grow a lot more potatoes, and when they were ready, if his field wasn't already raided, he'd bag up the potatoes and leave them at the edge of the forest for the Protector to take

- The Protector seemed to get the message, as it didn't mess with his other fields anymore and would take the bags that Phil set out

- During all of this, he had started to grow close to a mortal named Wilbur, a bard from the local tavern

- One day, Wilbur came by his house with a bag... a moving bag

- "Hey Phil, remember that raccoon I've been complaining about for the past few weeks? Well, I caught the fucker and figured 'hey, Phil's a farmer! He deals with wild animals all the time! Why not give the annoying cunt to Phil since he'll know what to do!'"

- Wilbur lets the raccoon go in Phil's house, and immediately it starts growling and barking at them

- Then the raccoon stares at Phil, and the two have a staring contest for a moment... before the raccoon turns into a person

- The person still has raccoon ears and a tail, as well as the black circles around his eyes, and hes surprised for a second

- Wilbur stumbles back, beyond confused at whatever the fuck just happened right in front of him

- Once the raccoon realizes hes a person again, he immediately starts cursing out Philza, and Phil just facepalms

- "YOU BASTARD! YOU ABSOLUTE DICKHEAD! DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I'VE BEEN A FUCKING RACCOON BECAUSE OF YOU?!?"

- "Shut up or I'll do it again, you little shit!"

-"Don't you fucking dare!"

- Wilbur finally speaks up

- "I'M SORRY, WHAT THE FUCK? DID THAT BLOODY RACCOON JUST TURN INTO A FUCKING PERSON?"

- It's then explained that the half-raccoon (Tommy) annoyed Philza, so Phil cursed him to be a raccoon "until we meet again"

- "Yeah, you just casually cursed him, makes sense- WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CURSED HIM??"

- Phil then has to finally explain that he used to be the original Forest Protector but decided to start living as a human

- just as Wilbur is trying to process that, Tommy starts talking about the new Forest Protector

- "That pig fuck is really annoying. He's tried to kill me multiple times and I didn't even do anything!"

- "Wait, its a pig?!"

- "Yeah! Well, he's quite a bit larger than a pig, and he does look a bit tougher than one, but he's still a pig! Have you never met him before?"

- "No, of course not! But he does come by and take my potatoes whenever they're grown!"

- "Well, don't meet him. Ever. A real dickhead, he is"

- Phil definitely plans to meet him whenever he can

- Wilbur excuses himself, as this was all a lot to process for him

- Tommy also leaves, insulting Phil one last time before leaving

- Phil decides to finally go out into the forest to meet the new Forest Protector

(I'M GONNA WRITE PHIL MEETING THE PROTECTOR IN THE NEXT POST, PROBABLY AS A ONESHOT, SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT! FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS AU! AGAIN, BIG THANK YOU TO MY FRIEND BUCKET FOR HELPING ME WITH THIS! THEY REALLY MADE THIS AU SPECIAL!!)

i feel like writing some Dynamic Duo stuff for ETM soooo here

- Techno is the only one Tommy will actually listen to without too much hesitation

- Tommy often tries to do more than he can handle to try and prove himself, but usually one of the other team members has to get him out of it

- the other two will typically scold him, while Techno will just stand there and either be like "why did you think that was a good idea?" or "be more careful next time"

- Techno doesn't underestimate Tommy, which is why Tommy listens to him, because he knows Techno gives him a fair chance

- Tommy only talks about his nightmares with Techno, seeing as both of them are nightmare bois

(new duo name: nightmare bois /hj)

- if Tommy did something illegal (like usual) and needs help to get out of it, he'll usually go to Techno first for help if he's available

- Techno is just as protective of Tommy as the others are, but since Techno knows Tommy's actual potential, he's less likely to step in for Tommy on a fight unless he knows Tommy cant do it alone

- Tommy is least likely to prank Techno... mainly because Tommy can never get away with pranking him

- Techno always catches on or gets immediate payback

- there are a couple times where Tommy thought Techno was falling for it... only for Techno to turn it back on him somehow

Skeppy and Bad got their personalities switched once, and it lasted a day and a half

Techno had planned to meet up with Skeppy later one the first day, so whenever Skeppy greeted him very kindly and happily, he laughed it off at first

then Skeppy kept being extremely nice and would scold Techno any time he cursed. Techno kept laughing, thinking it was a prank at first, and went along with it.

then an arrow was shot directly between them making them both flinch, Skeppy letting out a scream

they both looked over to see Bad on the floor laughing and Skeppy started scolding him for it

Techno finally realized something was up and asked what was going on

after a bit of interrogating, he finally figured out a unique had switched their personalities

for the rest of the day and the next, the et and dt messed around with the two a lot

do any of the people from any of the teams jokingly flirt with another team member? if they do, do the other teams joke around with them/tease them about it?

Wilbur flirts with everyone except his own team members. he mainly flirts with the Dream Team, tho. Dream and Sapnap flirt back and George typically laughs in response. its all playful and platonic, and the other teams just laugh along with some teasing :)

If ur ever up to do hcs against, etm, somethin with touch starved plz, i’m in a mood

"if youre ever up to do hcs again" me answering this 10 months later...

- a little over two years of the team banding together, Techno finally started to warm up again without pushing himself away

- previously, he had told the others that he wasnt a big fan of physical touch and didnt like hugs n stuff

- however, as he was actually warming up to them more, he realized that he did crave physical touch, but he was too anxious to ask for it

- he was glad they had respected his boundaries, but now that he did want an occasional hug, he didnt know how to admit it or ask them for one

- he often found himself curling up when he was alone, sometimes even when he was in front of the others

- whenever the others would hug each other, he'd feel a bit left out and lonely, but at the same time he knew they didnt mean to leave him out, he was just too anxious to speak up

- one night, they were all up and talking about some serious stuff, and Techno found himself curling up again

- Phil, who was sitting right next to him, noticed and asked what was wrong

- after a bit of patience from the others, Techno finally admitted that he just really wanted a hug

- of course the three boys gathered around and hugged him

- from that point on, Phil would make sure to include Techno in any of the group hugs they had n such

Hc yayyyy etm, situations where any of them were badly injured on a mission and someone else had to help them

mmmm another one from JULY-

- Phil had done his part of the mission, taking out part of the outlaw camp they got a hit on

- however, he was badly injured, and his wings werent in good condition either, so he wasnt able to fly

- he tried to sneak away to safety but he was caught

- luckily, Tommy was nearby and managed to save him

- Tommy helped Phil to safety, which was their own campsite since the area was a ways away from any town or city

- Phil wanted him to go back and help the others, but Tommy refused and helped bandage Phil up

- Phil kept trying to insist that he could help himself, but Tommy kept refusing to leave until he knew he'd be alright

- the other two came back, injured but not as bad as Phil

- Tommy also helped bandage Wilbur up, and Will returned the favor

- (he wouldve helped Techno as well, but Techno is generally fine thanks to his unique)

- Bad carries his bow around a lot since its the weapon he feels safest with

- sometimes random idiots will tease him about it, only for him to shoot a pouch off their belt or their hat off their head when they turn to walk away

- every time he does something like this, he always gives the person an innocent smile before skipping away

- one time when they were younger, he and Dream (before "the incident") were arguing with one of their older peers who was basically bullying Dream

- when the person began to walk away, Bad shot an ornament on the wall above them, hitting them on the head with it and making them fall down

- (Bad and Dream bolted out of their after that and had a good laugh about it)

- sometimes Bad will wander through the archery range, especially around the tougher area, and will overhear people talking about how difficult a target is

- Bad will walk up and ask about it, and sometimes people will bet him to try and make the shot

- he happily accepts, only to ace the shot first try and leave the other people bewildered

some good ol angst for the soul

- around a year of knowing each other, Techno finally seemed to be warming up to them (esp around the time they moved into the mansion together)

- however, a couple months later, Phil noticed that he seemed to be closing himself off again

- Techno started wandering off in the middle of the night, and one time Phil decided to follow him

- Phil tried to ask what was wrong, but Techno refused to answer

- Phil kept trying to ask about it, but then Techno got upset and lashed out at him before walking away

- the next morning was a bit quiet and awkward, but when Will and Tommy asked about it, Techno told them it was nothing before walking to his room

- it took another day before Phil apologized, but Techno still didnt tell him what was wrong

Has George ever tried to control Dream? If so, how did Dream react/feel about it?

yep, he has a couple of times! usually if Dream is being really annoying, George will control him to walk away or do something embarrassing. Dream usually whines about it or chases him down, depending on what George made him do

(one time he made Dream jump into a pond fully clothed. Dream chased him down after that and tried to push him in the pond as well)

these asks are almost a year old, oh no-

- Wilbur likes to annoy Phil by ranting about extremely stupid things that often dont make sense

- (think: eating sand, hating anteaters, etc.)

- the other two often laugh and encourage Wilbur, annoying Phil even more

- one time, when Wilbur was really going all out with one of these rants and the other two were laughing along, Phil got an idea

- remember how Phil and Will are childhood friends? well... they have a lot of blackmail material on each other because of this

- Phil tries to warn him to stop, and when he doesnt, he starts telling the other two about embarrassing things about Wilbur from their childhood

- ("hey Wil, remember that time David told you those yellow flowers behind the Blacksmith's shop were magical so you ate them to impress your crush, then got sick immediately afterwards?")

- once Will realized what Phil was doing, he immediately started trying to tell him to stop

- Techno and Tommy, however, were very interested in more embarrassing stories, so they kept asking Phil for more stories

- Wil even tried to hypnotize Phil to stop, but Phil purposefully didnt look at him so he couldnt

- yeah, Wilbur calmed down a bit with his stupid rants after that...
