As Polly brainstorming some possible direction, I was caught in the idea of a game and metaphor. And with a little help from Stefan Graham, we decided to create a set of game based on Happy Family!

A collaborative project with Polly Chan based on food and experiences. 

We started off by planning out to experience with 5 senses of human: see, smell, touch, taste, and hear. 

The 1st sense was fun to work with, and fairly easy. We could have fun and be creative as the same time 

The smell was harder, we recorded people responses to the smell from a loaf of bread to find out the association between them and the bread. 

The rest was even harder, we didn't find anything that could actually work and we were not interested in so we decided to just go with the visual pathway

Another different approach to the prj but i hated it. I don't want to play with food this way and didn't feel inspired at all. I started this with a dry food ingredient that I have been eating the most often among other. (ofc i didn't eat just lettuce, cabbage and garlic)

After Dylan from Tomata's workshop (which was about working with a given material, deconstruct and reconstruct it into a new piece of work depicting the message of our own), I took the chance to actually do some visual work by experimenting with collage - something I've hardly done before and not so good at it

I was upset that I couldn't change the Time News Roman as that's the font they used on the displaying sign on the building and they wanted to keep it that way. Nothing I can do about that

Design an identity for an apartment-hotel company in Vietnam. Dominant colours: white, grey, brown, red and blue. Focusing style/mood: elegant, subtle, softness, relaxing.
