It’s been 10 days since the last vote ended and all participants were freed of their collars. Roulette still hasn’t made any sort of announcement, and those of you remaining in the hotel haven’t yet found a way out.
It is at that point, desperate and running out of options, that a new message is finally displayed on the monitors all around the hotel.
In plain text it explains the way out is through a hatch in the ceiling of the deceased All Might’s room. You need only climb the ladder up and out of the underground hotel to finally taste freedom.
It seems to be over, but there’s still the questions of how and why that may never be answered. Roulette’s motives, who she was working with or for if anyone, and where she went; all of this remains a mystery.
But, at least; it’s finally over.

Tic

Tic
In the absence of the countdown display, the echo of the analog wall cock sounds deafening as the hours, then minutes, then seconds go by.
Tic
Tic
Tic
You watch as the hour, minute, and second hand all land on the number ‘12′. Midnight. It’s over. With the tablets broken, no votes have been cast. Those still wearing collars can’t do much other than wait for their inevitable doom.
Each collar begins to beep, but not the sharp, rapid, high-pitched, warning beeps that had proceeded previous deaths. No these were a softer, lower, almost constant tone. And then it happens.
A clicking sound follows, the latch on the inside of the collars opening. Every single remaining collar opens, and then falls away harmlessly. The monitors still show nothing.
What just happened?

It’s 12 hours before the vote officially closes, and the tablets are still not working. Several of the participants have gone missing; Todoroki Rei (rupturedice), Midoriya Izuku (unsuccesscr), Hagakure Toru (musehorder), and La Brava (musehorder) have been gone since last night without a trace.
The rest of you can only hope they’ve found something useful and will return shortly, as time is running out. If the countdown hits zero and none of you have voted;it’s game over for everyone.

The tablets still are not working, however; you still have 3 days to vote OOC. Votes will be collected as normal, and if the tablets are fixed things will proceed from there. If not, then...
Well, good luck at any rate.

It’s 12 hours before the third round, the third vote. Where you will be given 3 days to make a choice, and at least 6 of you will die. The inevitable has been hanging over your heads like a cloud, as you struggle to find a way to survive. That cloud has just gotten heavier, as it seems your tablets are suddenly not working.
You have no way to vote. And not voting means certain death, you’ve seen as much happen to poor Sero.
If you ask Roulette what is happening, you will receive no answer. The Monitors that Roulette usually uses to communicate with you are off and won’t turn on, not even displaying the usual countdown clock.
Even without it’s presence, you feel the pressure. You have 12 hours and 3 days to figure our what is happening and fix it; or you all are as good as dead.

“Hello hello hello!” Roulette’s voice brings your attention to the monitors once again. Like the last round, it’s been 24 hours since voting ended. Does this mean there’s another rule change?
Shortly after her voice can be heard, the villain herself appears on the monitor.

“I hope you guys are having fun, I know I have been! That last vote was particularly interesting, wasn’t it?”
“Unfortunately, the Truth and Dare rule change will not carry over for this round. If you haven’t gotten a truth card already, you’ve missed your opportunity. Too bad.”
“But don’t fret, the fun doesn’t end there! I have a brand new twist to the game that will be sure to bring a thrill! Are you ready? Here it goes, the theme this time around is; Threads of Fate!”
“Each of you has received a partner card with the name of another participant. For the upcoming vote, your fate is tied to that of your partner.”

“If your partner is chosen in the vote, you will die as well. If your partner is a Sacrifice, you will be sacrificed as well. If the Keymaster’s partner is chosen, the Keymaster will die as well; but the rest of you will remain safe.”
Tied fates? With two sacrifices, each tied to someone, and the chosen person as well...this time at least six people will die. You look at each other. Six people, that’s almost half of the remaining group.
Was this planned from the beginning, or retaliation for the last vote? It’s hard to tell. Roulette, as always, is impossible to read.
“Well then, do your best to stay alive everyone! No matter the cost.”

“And remember, as long as you all are participants in my game, your lives are in my hands!"
6 Days Remaining.

“Well, it’s been an hour or so, you all have said your proper goodbyes by now; surely. Besides, the little ones shouldn’t be staying up so late! it’s bad for their health, you know!”
Roulette’s voice ringing out is all the warning the participants get before your collars once again inject a sedative; causing you all to pass out one by one.
When you all wake again, the room is spotless. As if this horrible night had never happened. Even the dirt has inexplicably vanished; an iron sheet covering what used to be the exit. Or, the door labeled ‘exit’, as it had not been an exit after all.
But it happened, the reminder is displayed; clear as day on the monitor.

Some Announcements In Regards To Voting;
1. Because of the uncertainty surrounding the voting this time, I did not kill off muses who’s muns didn’t vote; since it was my fault for moving things around. Those who didn’t vote instead have simply been marked as inactive on the roster, if you’re still interested in participating, please let me know. This is a one time exception because I changed things around.
2. The discussion phase has been extended to 7 days, while the voting phase has been extended to 3 days for the next round to allow more time for plotting and writing.

“Times up, pens down!”
The voting countdown hits zero, and you are all greeted with Roulette’s voice once more. But on the screen is a different display; Keymaster, Sage, Sacrifice, Thief, Commoner, a picture of each one of the cards are displayed in a column on the left hand side of the screen.
“Some of you may have already pieced this together, but for the sake of the group let’s first establish who has which card.”
“First, the Keymaster this time is Bakugou Katsuki!” As Roulette’s voice continues to pour into the room, Katsuki’s name appears next to the Keymaster card.
“Second, the Sage is Toga Himiko!” Continuing the pattern, Himiko’s name appears next to the Sage card.
“The Thief is Midoriya Izuku!” Izuku (vxfrxmentum)’s name appears next to the Thief card.
“And last but not least our Sacrifice is none other than Kinomoto Kazumi!” Kazumi’s name appears, and a lot of you have trouble looking directly at it. “Everyone else was a Commoner this time around!”
The cards appear for a moment longer before disappearing, leaving you with a blank screen.
“Now, the moment everyone’s been waiting for! The one you all chose, the one the Majority says should die is… Kosami Ryu, mister big shot CEO! Even though some of you managed to get your collars off, how cruel!”
There’s a beat of tense silence as Ryu’s portrait is displayed on the screen.
“Luckily for you, Ryu’s a mere Commoner. Which means you all get to live to see another day! Well, aside from our CEO, that is. Usually the sacrifice would bite the dust too, but...I’ll get to that in a bit”
Kazumi’s portrait joins Toshinori’s. Both portraits remain on display as the collars Kosami Ryu beeps rapidly in warning, before delivering it’s gruesome execution.
“One last piece of business. In regards to our un-sacrificed sacrifice; it’s a pain for me to dispatch of miss Kazumi myself, so you can consider her dead in spirit. This means she won’t get a card, and she cannot vote in the coming rounds.”
“Oh, and next round there will be two sacrifices; to make up the difference.”
The screen goes black again. Just for a moment, before a brand new countdown is displayed.
7 Days Remaining.
You have to do this all again.
“Remember; As long as you are participants in this game, your lives are in my hands.”

Although it has now been ten days since your arrival, five since the last vote; not much about your situation has changed. The clock is rapidly approaching zero, and you still have not found a way to escape.
You will have to vote again.

It flashes on the screen for just a moment before being replaced with Roulette’s smiling visage. She seems to look right through you as she speaks, hands folded and propping her chin up.
“Your discussion time has ended. Now it’s time for the fun part; the voting phase!”

“You all have a voting function on your tablet. To cast your vote, simply select the portrait of the person you wish to vote for. You can vote for yourself, or for someone else. But you can’t vote for anyone who is already dead; and you have to vote.”

“You guys have 24 hours to cast your votes, choose wisely. And, remember; As long as you are participants in this game, your lives are in my hands.”
With that, Roulette disappears and is replaced with a new countdown clock.

reminder: the voting deadline is now 12 hours from the time of this post. 16 responses have been received.
With seven hours remaining in the voting deadline and only seven out of 26 responses in; it’s clear that something needs to change with how i’m running the event.
For now, i’m extending the voting deadline for another 24 hours so that it will end midnight EST monday, rather than sunday. I’ll announce any other changes as they come.

thinking about that survey answer; how would everyone feel if instead of a time limit, voting ends when all the votes are in. That way you guys have an opportunity to wrap up threads before voting. I could add a ‘none’ option for those who want to have their muse abstain
#;;admin post#majorityruleannouncement#I want everyone to get as much enjoyment out of the event as possible
