THE VEGILLIANS are here! 🎃🥕🍏🍅🧅 Today I want to show you a little project I started back in June of 2021 when I was living in Aruba 🇦🇼 for a couple months It’s a series of traditional illustrations of comic book characters drawn on top of recycled supermarket paper bags for your groceries. They are done with posca markers and pens. I’ve named these series: The Vegilians; and entire idea of this project is to make people aware of the importance of your nutrition and the food you put in your body. Some weeks ago I painted a chair at the opening of an exhibition I took part in, curated by @clcarte I had the pleasure to intervene the @annud.concept Shell chair designed by @bambu.designstudio and recently the guys at @cualitiphotostudio took some nice shots from it. It was my first attempt doing something like this and I genuinely enjoyed the experience, just because it was a new surface and medium and pushed me pit of my comfort zone.
