the issue I have with it is I like how the story was conveyed. I like this. I want more of this storytelling. My issue is that they are telling us about a side character when the main characters we don’t know anything about. I want this game but for the aftons. And bring back pj. Please.

the thing that's bumming me out about sotm is that i do wish i liked it more. the same way i wished i liked security breach more when i watched playthroughs of it. it doesn't feel great to be one of the The Best Of The Series Is Behind Us! people.. but ultimately i do think fnaf will always be the most interesting to me when it is the afton family drama.. and that is a storyline that is well and truly over

I don’t know if I totally believe this, but honestly he could have. Someone pointed out that Edwin’s house is the aftons house, so maybe he kidnapped his kid too. I mean we do see William kidnap garret in the fnaf movie, so I mean we know he can, and garret is the analogue for the crying child in that movie. I’m just pondering the possibility.

the tiger is the crying child and Cassidy. But in this universe David is the crying child. Here’s why. We see him crying multiple times. He was obviously murdered by something and there are lines about putting him back together. (He’s the baby owl). He is frequently associated with the stuffed tiger. The tiger doll laughs and cries thus implying two souls in one body. They act a lot like golden Freddy with the laughing and glitches and ominous disappearing and reappearing and the ghost thing. The design also implies two souls with the two different colored eyes and god do we know eyes are important. David is implied to be inhabiting the stuffed tiger. And they act like golden Freddy. The game has a lot of themes about duality and destruction and life. Also matpat was right about the robot thing. You laughed at him but he was 100% correct.
