Bolts for Bowie

If you know me generally the one thing you associate with me is my extreme love of Bowie, hell, I have a cat named after him.

No one has served for more artistic inspiration then this man in my life. He breathed life and art into everything he did, created iconic looks and characters that deeply effected my creative life and development… A genuine weirdo, never afraid to push the boundaries in the name of art and allowed makeup and music to be transformative, whimsical and self expressing.

He pioneered the way to break norms and found himself ahead of the time in his thinking, everything from sexuality, fashion, politics, art and equality.

There is a question, would I have even gotten into this field if Bowie hadn’t touched my life? I don’t know. What I do know is he is the one I watched and helped me form a personal mantra of never being afraid to look stupid in fear of suppressing the art you might create.
