1st December - Do you like winter?

I do like winter, it's probably my favorite season after autumn.

2nd December - What is your favourite thing about winter?

The weather, I live in a really warm place so autumn and winter are usually when the rainy and cold weather appears (although many will argue that 27°C is not enough to be considered cold, i assure you that it is when you live in temperatures around 35-40°C every single day). The humidity combined with the cold actually makes my allergies act up but it's totally worth it. I also love the christmas spirit you can feel everywhere, it's like I can smell Christmas as soon as December starts.

STEM Statistics to put the Gender Gap into Perspective

☆ women make up roughly 17 percent of the physics workforce, but at the current rate of women working and studying physics, it would take 258 years to achieve gender balance.

☆ good news though! more women are graduating with degrees in STEM. for a rough estimate, the number grew from just over 140,000 in 2009 to over 200,000 in 2016.

☆ the myth of the "math brain" is a destroyer of confidence in girls. most girls lose confidence in math in third grade, while boys are more likely to feel they are strong in math.

☆ in 2019, about one-third of non-binary and transgender scientists reported discrimination for their sex or gender identity. about one-fifth of transgender scientists considered leaving their job.

☆ among STEM company CEOs, only 3 percent are women.

☆ 19 of the 616 nobel prizes awarded between 1901 and 2019 in physics, science, medicine and physiology were awarded to women.

It was an 80% on finished goals but, I didn’t waste any time! Probably the most productive and efficient day in the last couple weeks! I didn’t waste time doing random stuff or scrolling on my phone. Although, I did spend some extra time on history since it’s been a while and I needed more time to remember names.

Hey guys! I am posting after almost a month. I caught flu and after recovering got mild cold. I also went through a depressive episode. It is not diagnosed. But I barely had energy to get out of bed due to some family drama. I am better now. I do not know how long it will last though because some things you just cannot change while living in society unless you are rich or on a powerful post. It is like being crabs in a bucket. Hope you are happy to see me back.

Never had one but if I had to choose which to taste first, I will prefer apple pie.
