HUMAN is human
and letters are pictures
and drawings of you will
end up with the fixtures
a mirror is glass
and so glass can be you
when your face tells the light
how to move its way through
an unfettered reflection
though nothing is there
so HUMAN is human
and meaning's all air.

Been doing digital stuff, made this dog. No real dog reference needed, I know where eye parts go on a doggy-dog.

Made a better version.
Just a lil guy.
Been experimenting in a way to draw lighting recently, this boy is the result. Gotta try a full scene.

Excerpts from my Children’s Book: The Quag
I’m gonna be posting some pages from a partially illustrated alphabet book I did for a children’s literature class: finally, we have the Quag. Remember, if you are ever visiting a desert planet, don’t go out on open sand: statistically speaking, a giant monster is probably hiding in it.

Excerpts from my Children’s Book: The Megadabarge
I’m gonna be posting some pages from a partially illustrated alphabet book I did for a children’s literature class: This here’s the Megadabarge, a creature which I look upon with great pity. I feel like it has a 1 in 3 chance of falling over with every step it takes. It only survives as an ambush predator because every other creature on its planet is blind, deaf, and immobile. It has a 27% kill rate.

Excerpts from my Children’s Book: The Great Old Jebountan
I’m gonna be posting some pages from a partially illustrated alphabet book I did for a children’s literature class: this is the Great Old Jebountan, a big living asteroid who’s maybe the chillest creature living. I like to picture his mouth moving like that big rock monster from Neverending Story. Also, yes, if you threw cheetos into his mouth, he would eat them.

Excerpts from my Children’s Book: The Front and Back Cover
I’m gonna be posting some pages from a partially illustrated alphabet book I did for a children’s literature class: this here is the front and back cover, proudly showing the renowned Space-o-naut Captain Lot. Please be nice to him, he’s gentle.

First good digital thing I’ve drawn in a few years, so I’m happy it turned out pretty nice. Just some nice three eyed deer/fox aliens chilling in this grassy valley. How you think they taste?

Little experiment with using a q-tip dabbed with oil to blend pastel; creates a nice watercolor effect. Does leave one's hands slightly oily, however.

An experiment I had with mixing ink and charcoal, which I then went over digitally with a color gradient. My friend @dreamscape195 merged the different colors together into these two versions, and I’m personally very happy with it. Depicted is a space boy o’ mine look towards a looming space ship mega refinery..
