during my most recent watch of avatar i found myself thinking how someone probably should have gotten jake a shirt that said “if found return to neytiri”

All actors were confirmed to be returning to the Avatar set recently. Sam Worthington (Jake Sully), Zoe Saldaña (Neytiri), Jack Champion (Spider), Stephen Lang (Miles Quaritch) and Matt Gerald (Lyle Wainfleet).

Imagine if Neteyam was shot in the spine instead of chest and he had been paralyzed like Jake was back on earth?

I think about how gentle and understanding Jake would be to Neteyam and would have to teach him how to use a wheelchair

Or how Neytiri wouldn’t know what to do as she’s never seen this before, but she’s extremely supportive by fixing his braids constantly and humming his songcord to comfort him

Kiri, Lo’ak and Tuk would just be relieved he’s still around and try to cheer him up

Tuk would bring lots of shells and beads every chance she’d get while he was recovering and Lo’ak would try to crack jokes

Kiri would cry and try to go back to the spirit tree to ask for guidance even though she’s forbidden

Tsireya would do her best to make Neteyam feel comfortable adjusting to his new life, bringing him supper and offerings of trinkets she found on her dives

Even Ao’nung is softer and he visits Neteyam with Rotxo with all the hot gossip of the reef and teaching him some Metkayina children’s games

I think about the unconditional love the Sully’s have for each other and no matter what they’d find a way to get through everything together

My Roman Empire. I think about these kids all the time. I think about whether or not they survived the destruction of hometree. I think about how much love and respect they clearly had for Grace. Calling her Sa’nok. I think about how excited they were to learn English and about humans, reading the Lorax, counting in English etc. I think about the deep shame and guilt Grace carried after the incident at the school and having to shut it down as a result of that. I think about despite the fact that they were hurt by her actions, they immediately jumped to action when her neural link was broken after their home was destroyed by humans. So many thoughts and emotions…. I truly believe Grace loved those kids as her own.
