Hey I just wanted to give a shutout to RPers that can’t be that active on their blogs, so here’s to:

RPers that are dealing with mental health problems that make it harder to find muse to write

RPers that work long hours that take up their energy

RPers that have a lot of hard things going on in their real life that takes up their time

RPers that are working on a lot other projects as well and have to pick what to work on

RPers that for whatever reason have a hard time finding partners to write with, be it due to being in a rare fandom to having a oc that doesn’t fit a mold

RPers that are parts of different rp blogs/groups & don’t always have time for their indie

RPers that just have a hard time getting muse to write

You all are wonderful & amazing parts of the rpc, it’s okay to not be hyper active all the time & it’s more than okay to have things you do for fun or to make something that isn’t RPing & is more important to you.

 not being as active as others doesn’t make you a bad RPer, writer, editor or otherwise a part of this community, you yourself are a treasure with or without your writing, the thought & care that you are able to put into your muse & writing is more than enough.

I’m trying to get my rp sea legs back, and since I’m still a little overwhelmed by the thought of just jumping back into writing @jack-o-chica-multiverse, I’ve set up an RP etc. blog for Captain Foxy. Consider it training wheels for getting myself in the right mindset to start writing again. Might be good, might be terrible. Might be short-lived. It’s hard to say. But dang it, I really want to start writing with you peeps again!

Thank you peeps who nudged me to play Bugsnax- I just finished after chipping away at it the last couple weeks and AGHHHH I needed something fun and surprisingly heartfelt right about now. And I stand by what I said before, if not more so: I would die for the Grumpuses. Also, I fell off a cliff on one of my quests, and while you technically can’t game-over-die, my prediction that I probably would die for them came true hdbdhdhdhdh! :)

Also also, can I just say I really liked how the unobtrusive on-screen prompts stayed active throughout the game? I wish more games had that option because when you’re still very new to using a controller and/or you haven’t played a game for a little while, you tend to forget what button does what. Maybe I’m just a dingus and this is a common optional setting in most games but it isn’t something I’ve personally seen so far since I started gaming again and I appreciate it!

if you ever want to just watch a playthrough of bugsnax holly is playing it, i've been watching it lately :)

I’ve been veeeeeeery temped to watch her streams of the game, but I think I want to give it a try myself first. Still, thank you! I’ve really enjoyed the couple playthroughs I’ve watched of hers, and I’m definitely going to watch the Bugsnax streams either once I finish the game ... or if I get stuck. ;)
