Question for posleal, was there another species he was gonna be before an angel?

Nope, when I drew the first version (This messy nonsense)

He was always an angel from the very first conception, I wanted to make a character that combined biblically accurate, and modern interpretations of angels in a way that sorta also hinted towards space, Hense the void-y lad you see now.
