While Nyssa was friends with Carol; Noelle’s mother as well, she was often busy with being the mayor of Hometown, so Megan often went to the Dreemurr house to hang out.

Dependable, Responsible, but likes to have help and help others, Creative, Imaginative, while she isn’t that handy with technology or mechanical things, anytime Megan was in the Dreemurr household the TV would always work without issue. Anytime the Dreemurrs had issues with their TV, Toriel would always call Nyssa and Senka to bring Megan over to fix the television. Megan never really had to do much to the TV, as when Megan would even slightly touch the TV’s antennas and it would work perfectly. Megan would never know why it was until Chapter 3

Megan and Nova both came from human settlements, as you could maybe guess.

While both of their families loved them, they weren’t really that well off, barely having enough to support themselves.

So reluctantly, their families sold them off to an orphanage, so that a better family could hopefully give them the life they deserved.

Then is when the two are adopted by the Yvaines, a couple of bearded vulture monsters.

While the two bird monsters did have to borrow a few books from the library to learn how to look after Megan and Nova, they were quick learners and were the best parents that Megan and Nova could’ve had.

Which leads us to where we are today.
