I have a very serious thing with DILF Shen Yuan so,

Hunting monsters and ghosts too small to attract the attention of the most importants sects while their horde of nannies, tutors and educators make his daughters intelligent and coherent girls, in addition to just beautiful. And he's there, not a runaway dad, but hey!! They need money, and he can't do cultivator stuff on the walls of his house!

...almost by chance, he ends up in the Luo River. It's not even something he does consciously. But he's there, washing the monster blood off his robes when he sees barely illuminated by the sweet dawn, an handsome young man fainted.

He even gives him some of his own qi and helps him circulate it to make sure he'll be okay.

Finally, after a long day, Luo Binghe wakes up.

And Shen Yuan... has no idea what exactly to do now. But taking care of Luo Binghe is definitely on his table! And maybe take him home. And maybe give him some cultivation manuals to help him deal with his chaotic qi. And maybe get him away from the girls who will be in his harem in the future, OR BETTER EVEN!!! explain to him how should women be treated appropriately and how couples should know each other for a long time before moving on to the papapa using as an example his own (from the original goods) dead wife.

And perhaps Luo Binghe will not be able to marry these daughters of his in the future, BUT Shen Yuan can teach him how to be a, uh, better father than the abandoned father of hundreds of harem-children just mentioned!!!

The idea of taking him home, providing for him, giving him food and a little peace... isn't so bad. Poor boy. He's barely out of the Abyss. He has been through horrors that are barely imaginable. He deserves better care!!!

And perhaps he can be a worthy empress, if his widowed heart ever heals the loss of his beloved wife who is painted all over the house, so that Luo Binghe can court him without feeling disrespectful with his heart in mourning.)
