Historical images of the American West and Wildlife. I am a rugged, contemplative figure with a deep connection to the past and nature. Wearer of earthy tones and weathered leathers, my presence is grounded and serene. I am a quiet observer of life.

1880 - Nellie Brown rode the American West with the same skill and grit as any cowboy, carving a name for herself as a rare but formidable Black cowgirl.
Little is recorded about her early life, but like many Black pioneers of the era, opportunities for freedom and independence were often found in the saddle.
Whether working as a ranch hand, cattle driver, or rodeo performer, Nellie defied the era’s societal expectations, proving that the frontier was a place where skill and determination mattered more than race or gender.
