it is with the absolute heaviest of hearts that we’re officially announcing the closure of manchestershq after a decline in activity and momentum.

we took a risk launching a group at an awkward time, and even if it wasn’t for a long time — it was beyond fun. the whole of the mod squad is giving all of our love always to the members we had in our little group!

for now, we’re going to keep the main page + certainly consider reopening at a better, less stressful time of year for everyone. for now we do also wanna give some big love to our affiliates @mochahq and recommend them to anyone looking for a new group now!

hello lovely manchester residents! welcome to our second task! this one is all based on how your muses interact with their friends, colleagues and strangers — so you’ll need to get your plotting hats on! under the cut you’ll find all the details for the task, so have a look and get involved!

the first autumn storm has hit the greater manchester area, wreaking havoc on the usually peaceful streets. there’s been nothing but rolling thunder and lightning all day, not to mention the near torrential rain that just won’t stop pounding down on the streets. 

has your muse lost phone signal? do they have a fear of thunder that’s had them running to their neighbours for support? has a rogue branch fallen through their window, shattering the vase their mother gave to them that they swore would always be safe? or are they just going to use it as an excuse to camp inside with netflix and the contents of their freezer before it defrosts? that of course, is all up to you.

plot with your fellow manchester residents for this task! 

whether they’re trapped together or just lending each other a hand in their time of need, show off your characters true northern spirit — whether it’s something they grew up with or something they’re just trying to learn as they settle into town!! 

you can feel free to post aesthetics, paras, self paras, starters or text threads for this task, wherever your muses interpretation of the storm takes them!

there’s always someone on the dash. we’re slowly building up our activity but it’s been very positive so far! we definitely could use more faces around here, but so far so good, we really love how welcoming and dedicated our members are.
