HC + swimming

The only time one would find Mileena swimming is to catch something, or someone. Aside from that, if she can’t set her feet on the ground and have her head above water, she doesn’t want anything to do with it. It’s hard to move, hard to fight, and extremely difficult to keep it out of her mouth.

In the MK1 timeline, she’s more relaxed about it prior to the events of the game, though her paranoia gets in the way once her disease kicks in. This Mileena would often go swimming with her sister as a kid.

Mileena is new to the world, but she knows when she doesn't like somebody. Her first reaction is to go in for the kill, to rend their flesh from their bones. But the one she considers her father already mentioned something about having to leave this one alive (AND intact).

So what does she do instead?

She licks a big stripe up the side of his face, that's what.

Either way, the black fuzzball had managed to knock over just about everything, even getting a swipe in at her face upon finally being caught.

Dangerous enough to do it, but cute enough to get away with it. No wonder Earthrealmers seemed to love these things.

He’s lucky she hadn’t already bitten his head off, yet the assassin still had the nerve to give her orders?!

Teeth snap through the bone in the half-breed’s mouth, blood dribbling down her chin. She’s tired, starving, and more than irritated with the cryomancer at this point. Internally, there’s some debate on whether it’d be worth taking a bite out of him.

Never interrupt someone when they’re eating.

Bi-Han was dead. That was the news so long ago, and she hadn't given it much thought since. But her allies had reason to believe otherwise, and supposedly, the man was captured.

Had that been it, she could have believed it. It was far from the first time somebody had been brought back, and considering her own creation, anything was possible. There was just one thing, aside from the lack of frost in the corridors, one thing that made her believe something else was going on.

“I’m well aware, Bi-Han didn’t have a little girl the last time I saw him.” It would be so much colder if it was him.

Mileena briefly wonders if the man just had another brother she wasn't informed of.

“Still, I’m afraid no matter how... underdeveloped your abilities are, cryomancers aren't something I can just let go. There's too much at stake, too much for me to lose right now.”

Killing them outright though, that wouldn't be the best idea either, now would it?

Behind bars — Dyuuku paces. He’s not used to losing a fight — held captive in a fortress of Outworld. He’d freeze the bars if he knew to control his newfound cryomancy, break them like toothpicks — but he can seldom muster but small bursts of ice for now. In retrospect, it’s embarrassing, but he’s still alive, and it’s all that matters.

Resigned, he’s been sitting in the corner of the cell for some time before he hears several footsteps approach. A woman appears from the shadows: svelte, beautiful — wearing a mask…?

“Finally”, he intones, standing quick and making for the bars to face her. He seems desperate. Agitated. What about his daughter? Is she here too? Or still at home? “I’m not who you think I am. I’m just a chef!” Who can fight yes, and apparently make ice out of thin air, but a chef no less... certainly not an assassin named Bi-Han.

THE MUN. Hello! I’m Cella, she/they, 23. I appreciate you taking the time to go through the rules, this won’t take long.

BASICS. This blog is mutuals only, 18+, and crossover/oc/dupe friendly. Most of the basic tumblr rp etiquette rules apply here.

TRIGGERS & TAGS. Due to the nature of the franchise, darker themes may be present. Mortal Kombat is a fighting game well known for its violence and gore. I’ll still be sure to tag potential triggers as: trigger tw. Personally, I don’t have any triggers myself.

SHIPPING. This blog’s multiship! I’m fine with most things as long as it’s within reason.
