It seemed that everything the wolf was doing just made him appear cuter to J. Hell, the other was probably older than him. He never knew with people. His boss was almost a century old and looked even younger than J did. So, yeah, he wasn’t sure if he was finding someone older than him absolutely cute or not, but he was definitely finding his blushing cute. J shifted, reaching out to gently brush his hands aside. “Don’t be shy,” he murmured softly, smiling to him reassuringly. “I see it occasionally. I don’t mind, in fact, I’m glad you told me just so I don’t assume. I can be gentler, more open. It’s just sex, so there’s nothing to be shy about,” he continued, biting his lip.

“But that does help a lot, actually. It tells me you’d rather do stuff instead of me doing stuff, which is perfectly fine. Remember, this is your experience, I’m just at your disposal. How about this, to make things easy, we can just take things how they go, yeah? Whatever feels right, we’ll do,” J finished, smiling to him reassuringly once more. He took a moment to take a sip of his coffee before continuing. “Pretty much there’s just the issue of payment. I usually prefer payment first, just because I’ve had men and women alike use my services and then ditch, which turns into something even messier, so it’s just easier for me to accept payment before we get down to business. I’ve already told you how much, so I hope that isn’t an issue. And then there’s the issue of when you want this to happen,” he spoke, propping his chin on his hands again. “So. When do you want to do this? I’m available all day today, but if you’re not, I can easily schedule you for another day.” 

This entire conversation was going to be the death of Dae if J kept looking at him like that. Blessed moons if he didn’t already think the smaller man was cute, but seeing him downright coo over him being a blushing fool didn’t make J more attractive to the wolf’s soft heart. The more he thought about all of his past crushes on other men the more Dae realized he really did have a type that J seemed to fit. Small, cute, soft, delicate. “I’m trying not to be,” he replied as he awkwardly set his large hands in his lap. Now that his hands were removed from his face, Dae was having trouble and figuring out where to look that was anywhere but the other’s face. “If it was just sex I would have had sex years ago,” he mumbled, “but I think I’d rather have something more gentle. I just don’t...want to hurt you.” Really his size and werewolf strength were all in control for now, but the wolf had no idea what would happen to that control once he started something with another. 

“I guess that sounds okay. Can’t promise it won’t be awkward as hell, but you’re the professional. You can tell me if something isn’t right, right?” After all that was why he had sought out J after meeting him at the bar. Now that they were getting down to discussing payment, Dae wished he had bought a coffee or tea just to give himself something to fill his shy pauses with. “I promise I’m not like that,” he said. “I’m asking for help...for your expertise of course I will pay. I’m sorry that’s happened enough times that you have to ask up front now. People these days are horrible.” Dae’s blush came back in full force and he swallowed nervously. “Well my roommate is out today and I wasn’t planning on going into to work, so I guess I’m free now? No time like the present?”

Yeonjun would be a liar if he ever denied what Daehwa had just mentioned. He wasn’t into skinship a lot but if it was Dae or Tae, it’s a different story. “I’m not saying anything. My lips are sealed,” the arachne stuck his tongue out playfully at his hyung. Sometimes, Yeonjun finds himself showing a side of him that he doesn’t normally bring out with other people. It was a welcome change to find someone like Dae who he could be a different person with. He wasn’t an S-Rank espionage or a florist around the werewolf, he was just Yeonjun. A man who secretly enjoys the affection given by his hyung. “We’ll save the chicken and beer for later then,” the arachne concluded  Curious brown eyes watched Dae as he rummaged through his backpack, “Oh! I’ve heard about this one. They said it was good but I didn’t read much into it since I don’t want to spoil myself,” the arachne muttered as he looked at the shimmery box that Dae revealed. Just from the series they have watched before, Yeonjun realized his hyung’s love for anime. Hence, the arachne nonchalantly asked with a grin on his lips, “Look hyung, what boxed set do you want to have? I’ll start saving up so I can buy it for your birthday.”

The arachne let his hyung tinker around with the entertainment system as he piled more pillows on the couch and made sure that everything they needed was within an arm’s length reach. He knew that once they started the series, it would be hard to tear their eyes away from the screen even if it’s just for a few minutes. “Ice skaters always fascinate me since I don’t know how to skate and if it has an awesome soundtrack then I would definitely like that.” Yeonjun mused, fingers already opening the bag of chips on the table. The arachne then grabbed the puppy plushie that he often hugged to bed and settled beside his hyung. “I love haikyuu, you know that but I think it’s about time we move on.”  

“Lame,” he drawled. Despite being in his thirties, Dae still looked and acted much like a child and in the name of being childish he also stuck his tongue out at Yeonjun. Maybe it was because he had been turned into an oversize puppy or maybe it was now he could finally let loose with friends instead of feeling the burden of keeping his struggling family together. Tae and Yeonjun were the younger brothers he always wanted, but unlike with his real sisters, Dae didn’t feel he was being left in charge of raising the boys. Their friendship was simple and invaluable. “I haven’t read much into either but I really don’t need you buying me gifts,” he replied waving off the offer. “You can get me something else for my birthday. Maybe a Nekoma poster? Really I don’t need much and it’s not until February, so you have a while.” Dae grabbed the nearest bag of snacks and ripped into them only to realize whatever he had eaten was spicy enough to make his eyes water. “I’m okay!” He flailed and blinked quickly to push back the oncoming tears. “No wait I’m dying. It’s so spicy.” Instead of doing the smart thing by taking a drink Dae began flapping his hand trying to cool down his tongue. 

Once his fiery episode was over the werewolf promptly put the bag of snacks back with the others and selected something he actually liked. “We’re going to pretend that didn’t happen and that I’m not a complete embarrassment.” He picked up the remote to start the anime. “Fingers crossed this ends up being cool. Just for the sake of moving on from Haikyuu.” Dae settled back down on the couch but this time he was closer to Yeonjun enough for them to start cuddling whenever the younger decided.

Iseul continued to stare at the man who was nearing him. He frowned, prepared to run if needed be, despite the nonthreatening display of the person. His eyes scanned the person, closing his book as he tensed up. But he relaxed when he saw the flowers. Red tulips. That was… peculiar.  At first, Iseul didn’t process who this was. Didn’t even have a clue who this was. He had never seen the boy in his life. 

He shifted, pulling his feet closer to him as the other finally stood in front of him. He opened his mouth to say something– anything– but nothing came out. He tried again, this time, “Who are you?” escaping his mouth, still frowning. His eyes scanned the other, for any sign of threats, explanation, or simply, a joke. Was this a joke? It didn’t seem to be– the only one who knew of his favorite flowers were his husband. But his husband was deceased. The only other being he uttered those words to were… Wolfie. The wolf that would visit Iseul. 

Again, Iseul stared, confused and a bit concerned. That’s when he caught eye contact with the other. Those were familiar eyes. But it couldn’t be… “Wolfie?” he frowned, “Or are you someone who stalks me and him? I’ve only ever told him that my favorite flowers are tulips,” he continued, leaning back on his tree. He was still confused. Was this whole time he was speaking to a person instead of a wolf? It would make sense why the wolf always returned… always seemed to understand what he was saying. Shit. Iseul had been talking to a werewolf this whole time, spilling his heart out to a stranger. He swallowed, a blush coming across his cheeks.

After a few steps closer Dae came to a stop. He knew his figure could be intimidating especially with his height making it seem like he towered over the fae who he knew was several inches shorter. The last thing he wanted to do was scare Iseul any more than he already was showing up in his human form rather than a wolf. At the same time he was also putting himself in danger now that Iseul could identify both his forms. While he hoped the fae wouldn’t use that knowledge against him, Dae would never be completely sure. 

But that smile. Iseul’s smile alone was reason enough to take the chance and try for more than their current situation. Daehwa wanted, no needed, to speak with him on even terms. Carefully, the wolf reached out and placed the bouquet of red tulips within reaching distance of the fae before backing up even further. If he could he’d just shift into his wolf form just to show Iseul that they knew one another. That he was a friend. Though in doing so Dae would need to strip his clothes off and that seemed too personal for a first real meeting. “I’m your friend,” he started. 

Dae’s hands shot up awkwardly as he waved off the idea of being a stalker. “N-no! No, no I’m definitely not a stalker. I am Wolfie..well my name is actually Daehwa, but it’s not like I could have told you that in wolf form.” Really he tried not to ramble but found it hard now that he was finally talking to Iseul. “I just really like you? Yeah...and I thought maybe you liked Wolfie enough that you wouldn’t mind if I met you in human form. That way you could get to know me some, but now that I’m saying all of this out loud it sounds a little creepy and for that I’m sorry.” By the end of his ramble, Dae’s cheeks were glowing bright read all the way up to his ears.

He listens mainly to American music specifically Country. I blame this completely on the fact he lived with a mountain werewolf pack in the deep south for nearly a decade. Think hillbilly twang and banjos. It grew on Dae and reminds him of his first pack.
