like if you think of the prefix ov, it refers to eggs, as you can see with ovary and ovipository. now if you think of the prefix av, it refers to flight, such as in aviary, where birds are commonly known to fly, and aviation which refers to flying crafts

now you may be wondering what is the connection between these?

birds.

the o in ov resembles the egg, its rotund shape visible in all eggs from birds. the v clearly foreshadows the beak of which the egg will soon have once it hatches, characteristic of birds.

the a in av, pretend for a second its a written a, not font/typed a. this is an o with a leg attached at the bottom, depicting the egg has now gained legs, features characteristic of birds. the v still present, as the birds now have a beak.

unbelieveable that my friends arent as hyperfixated on deltarune as i am and wont spend an ungodly amount of 48 consecutive hours to play every route like i did and instead choose to live life like a normal person

btw if u like deltarune i suggest u play garden story bc after completing ch 3 and 4 i thought it reminded me a bit of garden story and i always thought garden story was like if undertale and stardew valley had a baby but now i think its like if deltarune and stardew valley had a baby

as much as i love dark skin dark hair dess, i think dess will end up being light like her mother, blue horns like her mother, but dark hair like her father.

noelle already kinda is like this, she has similar skin tone to her father (and nose!) but similar hair to her mother, looking more like her in her dark world form

and if you look at the cattington family, the similar pattern takes place where one child will look like one parent and the other with the other, i just think tobys brain works that way

big fan of toby "your choices don't matter, there's only one ending" fox whilst simultaneously giving us snowgrave/weird route

and whilst most people would assume that this means that there are actually different endings, i still firmly believe that there is one ending. the roaring will still happen, the day will still be saved, the main plotline will not change.

but you know what will change? the journey to get there. the friends we make along the way. perhaps even the friends that will help us defeat the roaring and titans with less struggle, than if we were alone.

and i guess if you look at it from this perspective, undertale can be argued that it also only has one ending, in the end frisk leaves the underground and reaches the surface. but i am a little bit more detail oriented than that, as the death of asgore, the forgiveness of asriel, hell the whole thing of freeing the entire underground?? these ARE different endings.

however, where in undertale the game so obviously attempts to prevent you from completing genocide, deltarune has KRIS be the one to try and stop you from continuing snowgrave.

you still get the shadow crystals, you still get the eggs, you still lock up king, still have queen to your castle town, albeit sadder than usual. (havent done ch 3 and 4 of snowgrave yet so cant have much input on that)

but your castle town is quieter, sadder, emptier. you're not as close to susie as you would be normally, you don't have as many friends, no recruits (which cmon judging by its name is CLEARLY foreshadowing how our fight with titans in the roaring will go down)

but we still get the same ending. we're just not as fulfilled.

and now, finally coming to the conclusion i had made this entire post for. i think toby did this to parallel life. life only has one ending, we die. however, the journey in between, the friends we make, our happiness and fulfilment in life depends on the choices.

yes we die but we will die fulfilled.
