Welcome to the story of a young man who struggles and fights for survival💔

This is a picture that means a lot to me. I am Jihad Al-Hamaida. I am 17 years old. I am a young man whose life has been completely destroyed and torn apart. Every day I ask myself, "How long?" Isn't what has been happening to us for more than 18 months enough? I swear to you that I am fighting and wrestling with the world in order to survive. Every second I live, I fight myself and my body. Do you know that in this war, I am not alone? I am fighting for my family, whom I am trying with all my might to defend and be a support because my father was injured at the beginning of the war. My mother was pregnant. My brother's son has a disability in his body. His condition often gets worse, but I am still struggling to get us out of the Gaza Strip with the wounded. We will be accompanying my father and brother. In order to do that, we have to collect a lot of money so that we can get out now. I have a lot of hope to get out of this nightmare that we have been living for a long time. Donating for me means saving me from the war. I cannot wait much longer, as I trust you with your support. You are the light that I need. Your donation will save us. Your donation will save an
entire family full of stories

These photos are from before October 7th. These photos can be repeated again. We can fight to restore these laughs. We can restore the dreams, ambitions, and life of my family. Can you imagine that? Can you imagine that you can bring that back just by sharing my story and donating for me? My love is priceless, and my family's life has no specific price, but this was imposed by society in these painful circumstances. I will not explain to you how many people I lost. I will not tell you that my house has become a ruin. I will not tell you that the stone factory was destroyed. I will not tell you that we suffer from the cold. I will not tell you that I tremble with fear every night. I will not tell you how difficult it is to provide some food. I will not tell you how many diseases I have contracted. This is all just some of the suffering that has become just an image that you see, but you do not know how painful it is to live it. I am in front of you, screaming with all my energy. At this moment, I am screaming to you with all my energy. Donate, spread the word, fight for me. I need a lot of strength from you to live again. This stupid program is deleting my accounts, so I am tired of this matter. Please help me before it is too late🥹😭

Please listen carefully Please listen carefully🙏 I need you to read this..🥹
On the seventh of October I am teacher Mahmoud Atta. I work as a teacher teaching secondary school students.

On October 7th, I was getting ready to go to school. On October 7th, while I was getting ready to go to school, my life was completely turned upside down. Israel declared war on Gaza. After that, they announced their entry into the roads and cities and forced us to leave the city from Khan Yunis to Rafah
.

We passed through a road called the Road of Death. Tanks were everywhere. Bullets were raining down. We passed through a road called the Road of Death. Tanks were everywhere. Bullets were raining down. If you survived, your brother would not.
We've all seen the end of the world movies on the big screen. We have all seen end of the world movies on cinema screens, but what we saw was real and not imaginary. I wish it was imaginary.
We finally arrived in Rafah Finally we arrived in Rafah, the safe city as it is called, but where to go? The sea is behind us, the weather is freezing, and the borders are closed with Egypt on the other side and Israel on the third and fourth sides. I found myself making a tent out of nylon for myself and my family.

No water, no electricity, no food, no place to go to the bathroom, no life. I wish I had died sooner.
We returned after a long time to our city. After a long time, we returned to our city. The first sight was that a giant monster had entered the city and left it in ruins, so much so that I did not recognize my house or my neighborhood. Oh my God, is this Khan Yunis?

fI searched to find my home, to find my apartment, which contained my memories and my most beautiful days, destroyed. I searched to find my home, to find my apartment, which contained my memories and my most beautiful days, destroyed.

Today I stand before you to search for Today I stand in your hands to search for any help to restore myself again thanks to you.. I am waiting for your help

hands off our Democracy!

For many Americans reeling from Trump's cruel and irrational actions, yesterday, April 5th provided a welcome outlet to voice their grievances and demands. All across the country and several nations world-wide, millions of protesters gathered in all sorts of weather in the largest protest of the Trump administration yet.
It was heartening to see reports today of millions demonstrating in major cities like Boston, LA, Chicago, NYC, Atlanta, Washington DC, Denver, or Portland. But what really made me feel hopeful and connected were all the reports of medium and small-town gatherings all over the country. Thousands showed up in Corydon, IN, Tryon, NC, from Oshkosh, WI to Bisbee, AZ and every state in-between, all across the nation, red or blue. People everywhere are worried, shocked, fearful, and angry. And they are showing up and speaking out.
My daughter and I joined a Hands Off protest in Louisville, KY in the rain. It was exhilarating, heartening, and encouraging. I highly recommend it. (the rally, not the rain.) A rally can make you feel hopeful and counteract our sense of helplessness. Try it. There will be more. They can make you feel better and they can make a difference.
Last month I suggested that you call your Senators and Representatives for the same reasons: it makes us feel better, and it can make a difference. I stand by that.
We have to persuade Congress to stand up for our rights and institutions. And we can, if enough of us take action. Numbers count. Every call you make gets tabulated. Every crowd you join is one person bigger. Every text you send gets added to a list. Politicians always count potential votes, whether for or against.
We can't afford to stay silent. We can't disengage now, no matter how alluring that may be. Too much is at stake. That's clear now. Our democracy, our Constitution, our Country is on the block.
So sign that petition. Join that protest. Call you Representative in Congress. Make yourself heard. If they hear from a million people, they will listen. Numbers count. You count.

quick linguistic history lesson. the term “woke” originates from african american communities to describe being “awake and aware” of the current sociopolitical climate. this term has been used since at least the 1930s. it wasnt until 2014 during the ferguson protests that the term entered the wider vernacular. mainly as a result of black twitter. and as is common with many things coined by the black community. it was repeated and commercialized to death to the point where now most people only using it mockingly. including people on the left. the point is. “woke” is not a bad word. the alt right wants it to be one.

"This is Hossam’s team, and we are sharing his final message :
“If you’re reading this, it means I have been killed—most likely targeted—by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old—a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents—anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people’s side.
By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest—something I haven’t known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.
I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free.”
— For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza."
