EDIT: If you're still having problems, it might help to switch from "Save/Save as" to "Export (as a) Single Layer". Just. Make SURE the box labeled "Expression Color" is set to RGB. I've been messing with this all day, and it looks like this combination of settings will allow exported PNGs to maintain their colors perfectly. To you. So far both Discord and Toyhouse still only display desaturated images and I cannot for the life of me figure out why

I had some unexpected visitors today when I went out to do goat chores!

That's a nice pair of Spaldings. A BS male and a hen. Some idiot just lost $600+ because they thought peafowl were like chickens and could instantly be free ranged.

If they stick around and you'd like to capture them (and they should be captured even if you don't intend to keep them, they do not know where they are and will not be adept at finding food and water and are susceptible to predators), they can be offered game bird feed or dry cat food or whole corn or peanuts, and led into an enclosed space. Shut the door behind them and capture them in the dark (it will be easier to grab them when they can't see).

If you'd like to keep them I can give housing advice, otherwise either contact your local humane society/ASPCA or drop me a PM and let me know where you are and I'll see what I can do about helping you find a place for them with new owners.

combative take that kids endlessly RPing with chatbots, etc is teaching them (getting them to freely exercise) reading and writing skills, and, also, that most kids aren’t as stupid as they are frequently considered to be, especially the ones doing loads of reading and writing. I predict that most children playing with chatbots are using them like any other toys or pastimes, and will either outgrow them or grow to elaborate on and with them in an astute fashion.

I am officially overfeeding the mno due to the broad recommendation to feed medaka once to twice daily. I think the rec for the medaka is because they’re super small and frequently kept in small containers with lots of other medaka; mine are four to a comparatively vast surface area subjected to a gentle, unceasing rain of tiny insects.

I need to dial back to feeding every other day.

Cannot overstate the degree to which the shrimp are completely awol all day and then swarming through the full tank volume in nightly shrimp raves. Once again last night I tapped out from flying around in VR and walked past fifteen plus one shrimp whizzing around in 5GR (five gallon reality).

it does genuinely make me seethe with rage that people think the defining quality of a tradwife is her dependence on a husband and not the ideology of fascism that she has bought into. dependence on men is literally a normal feature of patriarchy, and one rife with abuse. many women choose to be or are forced into these arrangements (or a combination of both) for purely structural reasons. the tradwife chooses (and is also continually structurally coerced into) the relationship due to her belief in the divine/natural order of patriarchy and her desire to make other women, particularly women of color, subservient to her.
