DBHC has grown so much since then, and now that I have a much better understanding of this story and its timeline and characters, I wanted to redraw this comic with better dialogue and more timeline-accurate designs!

Here’s my take on the banners of the twelve empires! Been working on this one for a while, it’s so cool to see them finally all together. They’re all based (at least loosely) on the canon banner designs, along with each empires’ resources and my interpretation of their different aesthetics.

In order we’ve got:

Rivendell, the Cod Empire, Pixandria

Pearl’s Farmlands, the Ocean Empire, Mezalea

The Crystal Cliffs, Mythland, the Grimlands

House Blossom, the Undergrove, the Lost Empire

I recommend zooming in to check out the details - I had a lot of fun deciding on the different materials and shapes that would work best for each kingdom!
