I'm Maple! I'm new to Rotomblr. Hmm.. some facts about me?

I am going to Naranja-Uva Academy to become a Professor! In order to 'feel' like a Professor, I hope to complete a personal pokedex to get to know the pokemon of the region, and plan on going to every major city in Paldea in order to see what the region needs.

I am a trans woman! My pronouns are she/her.

I have 6 Pokémon on my team! I have an unnamed Mudsdale, Long Pikachu the Ampharos, and Furby the Larvesta (she's getting so big!). I also have Elegance the Dragonair, Katya the Tsareena, and an unnamed Annihilape. I hope I can show you them soon!

I'm taking a break from being on the road, so I hope to be pretty active on Rotomblr! If I do not respond, please assume I'm not paying attention to my phone.

I'm gonna try not to do too many gifs, but I might do pictures without identifiers and bold/italicized lettering. If you want to interact with my blog and need accessibility things changed, please please feel free to tell me! I have and grew up around disabilities, so I try my best to be open.

The person behind this blog is a cis girl. If I misrepresent being trans, please tell me!! Either a DM or an ask would be nice, and I would be happy to change it. (However, subjective stuff will probably be up to my interpretation, and i have a genderfluid sibling so u will be fact-checked lol)

To give her a 'voice' different from mine, I'm gonna try to not use conjunctions except for 'I'm'. I really like how Cecil Palmer comes across when he does it, and while she's more shy and straight-laced, I feel like it'll give a bit more of a journalist vibe. Might change it if it frustrates me tho.

Aesthetically she's very northern hemisphere fall, academia, and probably likes listening to guitar. Might add more here for characterization. She's a bit shy, and probably pansexual. She probably feels like a bit more of an Instagram girlie but I think she'd also love Tumblr and this is where all the pokemon irl folks are at lol

I love how Walker Scobell just appeared one day. He’s acted in three projects now, all within the last two years, all where he’s the main character. Nothing else. No nepotism. I think someone in Hollywood just said “Yeah I need an angelic little blond boy who watches too many rated R movies, bites people, and swears like a sailor?” and then they found Walker skateboarding in the dumpster out back and went “PERFECT”

I realize it’s just because they’re trying to introduce the audience to the concept of Pokemon and everything but nothing will ever be funnier to me than prof oak being like “these are creatures called Pokemon, they live in all sorts of environments!” like imagine if you met a biology professor and they were like ‘I’ve been studying these intriguing creatures called “animals’
