Yeah, she'll need some time to adjust. Thank you for understanding. :)
Oh no, she’s being quite sweet. But Ophelia’s being a tad restless… Maybe because of the new environment?

There's nothing wrong with a cute name though, and the dog is very friendly, so it fits well!
Cute is exactly the opposite of what I was going for.  It means “cuddly” in German.  But Gil named her that to spite me and it stuck before I could change it.

monikaatworldu said: After the Shakespeare character? It’s a good name. Better than my dog’s name, anyway…
Oh yes! I'm glad someone recognized the name! And your dog's name is very cute, Monika. Don't worry.

"You won't understand it," she remarked with a small smile. "And you know I can't say no to donuts." Madeline was a little surprised by Amelia's arm, but she didn't shrug it off. "And coffee will help us stay up to watch it. If we were doing a marathon?"
Iron Throne II Amelia and Madeline
“Oh, let me read, or no, read me some,” Amelia said, slinging her arm over the other girl’s shoulder. “So, what do you want to do, my place and Game of Thrones? Or donuts first?”

"I have no idea, but I'm really curious to check... I'm sure it exists, but..." Madeline laughed, trying to think of what the plot lines would be. "And most of its romantic... But you know the French, some of it is just...raunchy."
Iron Throne II Amelia and Madeline
“Is there French science fiction?” Amelia asked, realizing it was a stupid question, but she’d never heard of such a thing before. “Poetry huh? Like stuff about love and romance?”

"Oh, that's perfect then! And I can get a table or something... And I'll need to get my bedroom furniture..." Madeline smiled, looking over at the kitchen. "I'm really glad I got in contact with you, this place is way better than anything else I'd thought I'd get."
"Three separate...?" Anya thought for a few minutes. "Yes, we have exactly three bedrooms! I will take the one that used to be my workspace! The other two rooms would be... The guest room, and my old bedroom."
She paused a little, then said: "And thank you! Monika now provides a couch, though."

Do you mind if I have a guest over for coffee tomorrow at 6?
Oh, I don't mind at all! Would you like me to go somewhere else while they're here?

"Are there three separate bedrooms then?" Madeline wouldn't really mind sharing a bedroom, but she did highly value her privacy and alone time. "I can help buy some furniture initially, I have some savings."
“Same here.” Monika looked around Anya’s apartment, which was quite nice, and big enough for all three of them.  “The rent looks much nicer too, considering I haven’t found a job yet.”

"Oh yes, I can smell them a mile away." Madeline smiled back, slipping a bookmark in and shutting the book. "Oui, but this is just poetry, I don't think I've ever read French science fiction..." Though now she was slightly curious.
Iron Throne II Amelia and Madeline
“Maddie!” Amelia’s whole face lit up, happy to see the other so quickly. “I should have brought donuts, maybe that would have made it easier to find you,” she grinned, peering over to see the book. “What’re you reading? Is it it science fiction, that’s French, right?”

“Amelie has no boyfriend. She’s tried once or twice, but the results were a let down. Instead, she cultivates a taste for small pleasures: dipping her hand into sacks of grain, cracking creme brulee with a teaspoon, and skipping stones at St. Martin’s canal.”

Madeline leafed through her book, a simple one of French poetry as she leant against a tall tree. She was generally one to block out what was going on around her, but she was fairly certain Amelia would be off of class now. Of course, she also realized she hadn't specified where exactly she'd be, but she knew staying put was better than two people looking for one another.
She put her head back on the tree and sighed, keeping an eye on the path, until she saw that familiar face. "Amy! Over here!"
Iron Throne II Amelia and Madeline
It took Amelia a while to realize that on her rush to get back to class, that she’d forgotten to ask Maddie, where exactly she’d be meeting her. Park, she had said park, Amelia walked towards it, her hopes pretty low. Central park was fucking huge, after all.
“Maybe if I brought donuts it would be easier to catch her,” Amelia mumbled, still looking for the other.
