Black Lives Matter is very much not about fandom perception of black characters in media and thinking you have the right as a white person to put that alongside the issue of systematic murder of black people is pretty fucking gross

Okay first off, my sincerest apologies for not being here to respond to this message. My attentions have been elsewhere from this blog and the main, so I’m sorry I never got to this sooner, especially when it’s so pressing.

You’re right to call me out, I got too bold to make such a claim and while I do stand by the fact the Hannibal fandom has a problem with antiblack racism it was absolutely not the appropriate time to bring it up - or more specifically, it was not appropriate to attach it to BLM. Thank you for holding me accountable, I’ll delete the post (but leave this ask up, ofc; I don’t want to avoid accountability). I apologise again for my inappropriate conduct and insensitivity; I’ll be much more conscious of what I say and when I say it - and esp if I should be saying it at all - from now on.
