As you can see, Versailles Restaurant, in Little Havana, is always packed! The restaurant became a Landmark in Calle Ocho, serving Cuban food for over 40 years. The restaurant is definitely a favorite among the Cuban community and Miamians in general!

Versailles has been serving Cuban food in Little Havana for over 40 years, but what makes it different than any other Cuban restaurant in Miami? Well, Versailles political significance is such, that politicians from all over the country visit the restaurant when they need support from the Cuban community. Cuban exiles gather there to eat and discuss politics. Miamians love their Cuban coffee and the late hours Versailles is open until. This landmark on Calle Ocho is definitely a must do when in Miami. Have you seen Urs Fischer “Bus Stop” (2017) in the Design District yet? The art piece is composed by a bronze skeleton laying on its back on a bus stop bench. Water constantly drips from the bus stop’s roof, forming a shallow pool inside one of the skeleton’s eye socket and creating puddles beneath the bench. Although the artist never said so, I think many Miamians could see this as a great representation of the current public transportation system we have in the city. What do you think? #miami #miamibeach #florida #usa #bus #art #designdistrict #designdistrictmiami #miamiartscene (at Miami Design District)

Find someone who looks at you the way I look at Spinach Pie, right? Seriously, I’m obsessed with Spinach. I did watch a lot of Popeye when I was little, but really... Today I went to a place @thefashionpoet recommended. The Last Carrot, in Coconut Grove, opened its doors in the 70s and maintains its vibes pretty old school. It is a place only a local would go, so I’m thinking #oneofmiamisbestkeptsecrets (at The Last Carrot)
