alright i know people have that headcanon that Adam wouldn't let Michael just use his angelic powers to money cheat their way through life but like as someone who grew up single parent poor I'm sorry I can't accept that Lmaoooooo Like Adam legit went through childhood afraid to say he was hungry because he knew his mom could barely afford dinner I like to think he was telling Michael about how scared he is to go back to society because he was scared to feel the pressure he did when he was younger and Michael just pulls out a credit card behind his back like here, from a gift from Heaven. and Adams like, wtf this doesn't even have the right number of numbers on it and Michaels like go on. Try it. And so Adam gets an entire armful of sour candy at the gas station and it. Just Works. No one knows how, the Winchesters try to track it and it goes to nothing, the bank listed on it doesn't even exist, Adam *thinks* the way it works is it litterally shorts out the card reader into submission but he doesn't know. The Archangel in his brain won't tell him. Michael seems oddly pleased with himself.

i have something to say to my fellow midam folks who have watched season 2 of good omens. if you haven't and don't want any spoiler, do not go under the cut!

if i had a nickel for every time a rarepairing that seemed random to the point of being crack where one of them is a stuck-up archangel making heart eyes at the other party turned out to be canonly in a loving and healthy relationship before the most popular ship in the show did, i'd have two nickels. whish isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

it occured to me and i can't stop chuckling about it. gabriel and beelzebub, right? in view of the ending of season 2, may i just say, they basically got the whole midam treatment?? 'cause look, personally i'm no d*stiel shipper and the four pairings in on themselves have little to nothing in common, but the ineffable husbands are very very very dear to my aroace heart and―the way we were all so (rightfully) focused on them only to discover that in the end the ones who actually had their shit together enough to be on the same page and literally ready to run off on honeymoon to alpha centauri were the archangel fucking gabriel and the prince of hell.

it's the funniest fucking shit to me. gives me big supernatural season 15 episode 8 flashbacks and i LOVE it. good for them and good for the people who have believed in the ineffable bureaucracy since day 1 because the midam stans who have been here for ten years get that, too! that moment when the super rarepair goes and becomes canon before the main/popular ship does. <- though again, different contexts! because it is canon and common knowledge that aziraphale and crowley love each other on a deeper and pure level. it's just―the mirroring and the whiplash in episode 6 had me on the floor okay.

also the fact both adam and michael and beez and gabriel wanted to ditch heaven and hell and everything in between to chill and be together. i can't even what the hell i need to lie down.

i know that spn has always been inconsistent when it comes to power levels but i think it's so genuinely funny how they accidentally made michael ridiculously fucking powerful in 15x08. like RIDICULOUSLY ridiculously fucking powerful. the stupidly complex spell required to open the door to purgatory that even raphael apparently needed to get in there? no need for that boring shit! michael can do it with a single goddamn snap of his fingers! in handcuffs specifically designed to restrict the abilities of angels. the handcuffs that literally restricted the entirety of au!michael's power while he was in dean. his true vessel. he couldn't do a thing in those handcuffs. but no here comes michael waltzing up in just some guy from minnesota and opening a door to PURGATORY with a snap of his fingers. shit that even another archangel couldn't pull off. in the fucking handcuffs. GIRL.
