As time passes I've learned that music and its beauty is everywhere. There is no reason we shouldn't listen to music in places other than the radio and what's hot and popular at the moment. We should keep our eyes and ears open for whatever music is around us. I learned this from Kingdom Hearts believe it or not. This game was a magical thing for me, so many lessons were packed into this game, so many times it showed how friendship prevailed over any difficulty, but most importantly, it gave me this song. Dearly Beloved is the song from the title menu and it is amazing. I don't hold back on the adjectives for this song because it is near perfect. The mood it portrays, the beauty in the piano, the waves, the strings, it comes together perfectly. This song has been with me for years and I'm pretty sure my future children will listen to it. I hope people enjoy this song as much as I do, because it deserves to be known and shared for future generations. Have a good one.

Nujabes is an artist whom is barely recognized by people. I've honestly haven't seen a single person who has suggested it or listens to it. This song is called Spiritual State, it is the title track for his new CD and it is a beautiful song. I can't help but feel hopeful when I listen to it. It is a song that tells an instrumental story, a calm and peaceful one at that. This is the type of song that can spiral you into your happy place and keep you there for its full duration. The CD is pretty good, it follows this pattern of great beats to soothe the soul, but combines it with some hip-hop elements in other songs. The CD is definitely worth a listen if you enjoy this song. Have a good one.

What to say about this song? I find it to be quite amazing. Drive was a solid movie, honestly I was bored the first 30 minutes or so, but how it unravels afterwards was brilliant. I was speaking to a friend of mine and we spoke about the movie and how I wanted to see it again, which isn't common, but it hadn't been released, so I did the normal thing and downloaded its soundtrack. This song is solid. The lyrics are O.K but the beat is pretty good, simple yet catchy. I have to say I recommend this soundtrack to anyone who's into good music, most is instrumental though. Definitely check it out if you liked The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo's soundtrack. When I get a car, this is probably going to be the first song I'm going to play, just cause.
Have a good one.

Recently watched the Series Finale of one of my favorite TV Series, Chuck. It was a pretty rough start for the fifth and last season, but they pulled through and came out with a quality ending. I heard this song on one of the last episodes and searched through the internet for it and here it is. I haven't read the lyrics and I try to refrain from listening to a song more than usual if I don't know the lyrics, but this song is nice. I find that when you really like a TV series and they put music at just the right time, you end up liking the song more than it deserves, this is the case with this one. Hope you enjoy.

I just got done watching a House M.D episode, I still follow the series, I'm not sure why though. Thing is, at the end of the show, as per usual, comes the emotional dramatic song. This time, as most of them, the song fit into the scene pretty greatly. The scene wasn't so emotional, but this song set a solid vibe to it. The artist is Morgan Taylor Reid and apparently he released his first CD August 2010, I might be horribly wrong though. His acoustic styled music is nice, it's simple and accompanied by solid lyrics. This song is pretty nice and worth a listen or two.
Have a good one.

This song. This soundtrack. They're both amazing. The way they capture so many feelings and the way the song is so simple, but beautiful is close to incredible. This whole soundtrack is very special to me, because it played a role in what I call "My Perfect Morning." Music helps things become even more special then they are and when you have people to share it with, it's even better. Definitely give a listen to this soundtrack, but try and not do it alone or you'll seem kind of creepy. Hope you enjoy.

It's hard to choose a favorite Coldplay song for me, but gun to my head I'd say it's this one. It's been with me for a couple of years now and it has never failed to strike some sort of feeling in me. The combination of Chris Martin's voice and the acoustic guitar achieve emotions that other bands can't even fathom to touch. The lyrics are short and sweet, open to interpretation. You can feel the melancholy in his voice, singing about forgiveness and love. Even though it may at first seem like a song about love, I can't help but notice it's about both the good and the bad side of it.

I will rarely post live videos. I love concerts and I enjoy watching bands perform live, be it through Youtube or DVD's that I buy in order to support them, but find that most songs hold their meaning in studio recordings, although it cannot be said for all of them. This video is special. It shows the simplicity of beautiful music. Four people, four instruments and it's amazing. The way the guitars complement each other, the short but significant help from the strings, the slight use of vocals, it all comes together to take a very unique form.
Music like this is music I'd love to create one day, music that makes you happy to get out of bed and makes you expect beauty when you fall asleep in hopes of a better tomorrow. Words are effective, they're special, but music, music is so expressive, so pure, you cannot lie with music, their is only honesty and the reality of what you're listening to, there and now.

Fun song from The Strokes, titled Reptilia. Very famous from its appearance in the Rock Band or Guitar Hero franchise, I don't recall exactly which one. It's an O.K band, but this song in particular has some catchy riffs and some interesting lyrics that catch you by surprise (i.e "The room is on fire and she's fixing her hair"). Hope you enjoy!

"Brooklyn" by the artist Woodkid is a great song, because you can feel his love for Brooklyn. His lyrics are captivating and they reach the audience, even if they've never been to Brooklyn. I aspire to love my future home the same way he loves his past home. Things are always changing, it is the only constant life has, having a home, a base, a place for rest and meditation, makes us happy, makes us safe.

This song is titled "I Lied" by the Chicago, Illinois band called Telefon Tel Aviv. This song has great lyrics and a slow but catchy electronic rhythm to it. This band suffered a loss of one of its core members and its future was unknown to them. If you like this, make sure to check out their CD titled "Map of What is Effortless" It's worth a good listen.

Music
“Music is the perfect art. It allows you to doubt the true limits and shapes of reality. The world becomes what your mind makes of it. The end of the world submits to your will and imagination. Status is no longer important. What matters is the strength and stature of thoughts. Music is the only place where perfection is reached using imperfect ways. It’s where being unrational is the rational way in life. The true secret of music cannot be perceived by only one person or one perspective. The ways of understanding the music are as endless as an ocean. You can be stranded in the middle of it and you do not need words, because the music will be your way of communication. Among all human things, feelings are left untouched. They are sacred and will travel around the people by the force of sound."
