AMAB trans molly, she/her 40-45 Moons Old (approx 4 years)

Dulce was one of the cats in their litter with the most physical resemblance to their mother and in a way that molded them to aspire to be more like her. Still, Dulce turned out bolder, words not quite as subtle and playfully pliant. 

They are still easy to converse with, be assured they have plenty of stories to share of their own. 

Loose Backstory:

Dulce was born in Austin, Texas along with their many littermates. Their mother was a beloved housecat while their father was a stray cat who lived around the area. While they did get taken away from the city after getting adopted, it is very likely they would remember being visited by their father, Tiger, and his brother, Snarl, every few days.

Dulce was one of the first kittens in the litter to be adopted due to their looks and their easy-going nature around people. Adopter is free to come up with details about their home after adoption, but the two main things are that they were raised in an environment without human children and that Dulce was a social media cat, often put in fun outfits for pictures. Did they enjoy that or not? That is up to you! 

One of Dulce's littermates, Junebug, was adopted by a family who lives in the same neighborhood. I 100% encourage people who adopt those two to work out the intricacies of their relationship before they arrive at the court. However one thing that needs to happen is that Junebug was the one to convince Dulce of leaving on the journey to find the Court.

Tell me about a random character, please!

We have a Spadesbot command for this, but she gave me hilariously the characters I've talked about/shared on the blog most recently (i.e. White Chin who I still want to talk about BUT I was trying to root around for characters who haven't been as thoroughly mentioned) I ended up pulling Oatmeal and Snarl from the hat. I know you said one! But seeing Snarl pop up too made me want to include him-- because if I remember correctly Snarl is Oatmeal's uncle and it just seemed too fitting.

Oatmeal

A intelligent and kind young cat who has an interest in learning/creating a written language. She is someone who I notice tries to make a lot of friends, and always tries to look at the more forgiving side of things. This isn't always an easy task. Oatmeal as of right now is one of the main defenders of the Order prisoners, insisting they can change if they should want to. Dill and Pickle (mentioned prisoners) have been quite stubborn though-- they don't feel as though they've done anything wrong. As killing is in their job description, they feel confidently that there's no other choice. To reject the Order's command is to die anyways, and though Oatmeal insists otherwise... they're not so sure the Court is capable of such kindness as to let them stay with them after everything. I love Oatmeal. She wants the best for the Court and the best for those inside it, she's creative and thoughtful and reading her posts makes me really happy.

She also has a fun connection with another NPC, Devouringstar or Deedee for short. He looked after her for a spell when she got herself lost in the city, and the two still stay in touch. During the recent Masquerade, they found a chance to catch up. Unbeknownst to Oatmeal who was taken with conversation at the time, another NPC mentioned that Deedee apparently was a 'lesser god of fratricide.' I'm sure that's fine.

Oatmeal makes knives now and then, also. She has an antler knife and a little knife harness too.

Snarl

Snarl is a staple, steady piece of the Court-- appropriating reflecting how much work he's done in building the walls that encircle the Green Cave. He's a builder, a creator, and though he has a tense past... he is for the most part kinder than what may be expected of him. He is The Brick Guy. He makes nearly all the bricks used in the building of the wall, laid them as well, and is considering expanding into teaching to share his building skills. He's nothing if not committed to his projects which are now nearly complete.

He recently took on a pet turtle, a female Red-eared Slider who he made a home for. He found a spot where there was a little pond for her to swim around in and encircled it with bricks-- including land in there as well of course. He's only just now starting on this journey of pet ownership, I'm excited to see where it takes him.

I do also have a plan for Snarl coming up within the next week or two... but I'll talk more about that once it's time. It'll help reinforce themes that I'm very excited about. Themes of brotherhood and loss always come to mind with Snarl, and it's interesting as well how both of those directly connect to Deedee's supposed area of godhood. Two brother killers [insert cruel and also foul heart emoji for sarcasm purposes.]

Threaded between the gaps in his recollections, the long pauses as he struggled to feel around for his memories, was his supreme age.

Ripplepaw hasn’t really had the opportunity to say a lot of remarkable things, but one of my personal favorites is his response to Storkclaw’s joke on Canyonclan having a dry sense of humor. "Um... you, you gotta make sure the message's not too wet." Ripplepaw says, eyes flicking from Storkclaw to Jasperchasm in search of approval. This was like the thing Storkclaw had said, it was raining and wet everywhere. "Because, because they're, uh, dry?"

☘️Stork | Relationship dynamics with the most potential

From what I’ve seen so far, I think Stork and Jasper work well as an unintentional comedy duo. I think that the fact they’re both around the same age group and deserters from different clans would make for an interesting friendship maybe. Stork and Caveshade is a random concept but one I think has potential maybe since their stories are similar even though Stork is about the same age as Cave’s kids. They both escaped from their clans under similar circumstances, even though Stork escaped during peacetime. I think they could be friends.
