Another editing project, for a short film from Guiza Studio. This time I was also a camera assistant.

I was going for a cold and sad color palette. The sound design was tricky in this one, as the voice over was not the best quality, but I tried my best to clean it up and make it as nice as possible. I was given a lot of freedom while working on this, even so the theme being so dark I really didn't know where to take it narrative wise.

Now it's a music video! I only did editind on this one, and I gotta be honest I really enjoyed it, I wasn't allowed as much freedom as far as editing goes, and some of my ideas were shut down, but still, I liked the experience. The song is catchy

So I was given complete creative freedom for this one, and I think it turned out pretty great, all things considered...

This is my first experience with video editing, it was for a short film. Not the biggest fan of the theme, but it was nice to learn and try something new. I was not allowed much input, so basically I only came up with the color grading and sound design.

So I actually worked on this project back in 2022... sadly it got shelved. But I'm really happy that it eventually got to come out. I did the animation and the illustrations for the props.

This project was part of a series on Dia de muertos, and they way it's celebrated.

This is a little something from a personal project I've been working on lately. It's gonna be an illustrated album about paranormal experiences and encounters.

Another animation project I collaborated on for Dia de muertos.

I was in charge of the animation, and this time around, as there was no narrator, and the character was the one talking, I wanted to focus on the lipsyncing. It was definitely a learning experience, but I gave it my best.

This was actually my second Dia de muertos projects with the INPI, but the other one didn't get to see the light of day. It's a bummer, but it happens. I'm glad this one could be out.

Perhaps the other one will be seen next year.

I was in charge of the animation itself, but I also contibuted the illustration about the god Tezcatlipoca

This is what I envisioned the illustrated book to look like

This is a series of illustrations I've been working on as my last uni project.

The illustrations are about Oaxaca's folklore, especifically of the indegineous group: Chontales, to wich my family belongs to.

I've been experimenting with bigger formats, the first picture is an illustration that's 100 x 70 cm, the second one is the sketch I did before starting the bigger one.

I really like the reflection that graphite gives on the darker arreas. I will keep on going working on larger formats

I think I would like to work in the editorial field, illustrating children's books and perhaps some other stories of my own.
