They'd first been stuck together out of circumstance, but now ... now Yuki stuck around because of other reasons. Much like grabbing a pastry on her way home from a trip, she didn't do it because she had to. She did it because she wanted to. Besides, his little brother was kind of in her teaching lineage if you thought about it. She had taught Todo, Todo taught Itadori, it made sense if you squint, and didn't push the explanation too hard. Not that Choso would, ever pushy her flimsy explanation at all.

She glances back across the table at him and smiled, "Yeah, of course it is," she said, leaning forward to rest her elbows against the table. A simple act that would have sent her mother yelling at her. She knew how important his little brother was to him, and honestly it was one of the many things she liked about him. She didn't have a big family, and the family she did have she didn't particularly spend time talking to. "It's yours now, you can share it with whoever you want. I relinquished all rights to you. Okay well, you can't share it with another woman," she said with a wink, "but Itadori is fine."

"...Ah. Well, I appreciate it then." more than she'd know, really. going out of her way like that - his eyes held a gentle something that could never be spoken out with words.

"..Would you mind if I shared it with him? I'm sure he would enjoy it just as much, if not more, than I ever could.. Though..." he wondered if maybe yuji would even understand the significance. it was hard, after all, to recognize something an area might be "famous for" if they lived there... and from his research, it wasn't even one of the more famously-known food items. even so.. "..No, I'm sure he'd enjoy it all the same. If you're alright with it, of course." he was fairly big on sharing treats with said half-sibling.. but this was a gift. a gift for him specifically - if it was intended solely for himself, he would respect such a wish, though he had a feeling yuki wouldn't mind so much. best to ask anyway, of course.
