I think the reason these two feel a bit one-sided atm is because Gangle isn’t able to recognize when someone is interested in her. She’s so used to being perceived in a degrading light.
Jax doesn’t help with this, constantly categorizing her to be nothing but spineless — even though we now know she’s capable of being in a leading position. He enforces the mindset that she’s useless due to the fact that she struggles to stick up for herself.
So Zooble expressing interest in her as a person is new to her. Gangle probably struggles to believe anyone wants to be her friend, much less pursue a romantic relationship with her.
I like to think they’re unrequited lovers but not because of angst, it’s because Gangle has yet to realize the possibility that someone has feelings for her

I’m sorry, but if Jax’s Gaydar is able to go off with Zooble, he has to know something’s up with Ragatha when it comes to Pomni. He has to.
I personally think he called out Ragatha here because he knows that she’s easily nervous around Pomni—whether it be due to her good-will but somewhat robotic generosity or due to her wanting to present herself as someone collected to gain Pomni’s approval.
He knows how difficult it is for Ragatha to start those “first steps of a budding friendship”, especially when it comes to someone she has feelings for.
In conclusion, I think Jax knows Ragatha is a girl kisser and he’s teasing her with it
