We understand that every cat is different and that there are some cats that are, well, let’s just say particular with whom they share their positive affection. Frankly, for most pet hotels, this can be a deal breaker. They simply won’t be able to take care of your cat. Why? Because if they’re honest about it, most pet care facilities are really dog care facilities with a little bit of cat care sprinkled in for good measure. Cat Safari is just the opposite – everything about Cat Safari is about cats and there is no dog care sprinkled on top (in fact dogs are not even allowed at this cat only location)! Not only is Cat Safari just for cats, the counselors at Cat Safari are, dare we say, cat freaks. They really love cats, and they understand that not every cat wants to be their best friend – at least not to start.

There have been some questions about the Dog Waste Bags and the fundraiser Friends of Mountain Lake Park (FMLP) held last year. All funds that were collected will be used to purchase bags as needed (an order was just placed). It is also important to note that most of our Dog Waste Bags are now covered with an on-going donation pledge by Pet Camp, and we thank them so much for their generosity!
