David: Well, I don't know where it's going. I've only read the first half. Although I have read the final scene. He's already written it. I know.

I think, well, I'm very satisfied. I'm very pleased, and I can't wait to start again. All I'm sad about is that it's the final one because we'd be happy to go back to that every two years for the rest of my life, I think. But, yeah, it's definitely heading towards something.

THE END!! I can't believe I finally completed this. When I first started this comic, I had no idea that it would end up being this long. A little over 3 years and over 200 parts, so around 2000 panels. (My folder that holds all my files relating to this comic is 3 GB with 2,017 items....). I honestly can't believe that I managed to stick around to the end of this. Thank you all so much for the support, I never imagined that so many people would care about this comic when I started it!

Of course, there are still some loose threads. The kwamis and Nathalie for example, but the core of this series has always been about the emotional conflict between Marinette and Adrien, and that has been resolved. I have some epilogue ideas to cover those loose ends, but this comic has already taken so much of my time and I'm not sure I want to promise that I'll get around to it. ... But who knows. Maybe!

For now, Adrien and Marinette will get some long-deserved rest.

But, you know, that's a small price to pay for a character that is... is so delicious, really. And gets to wear these ludicrous outfits, that I would never dare to wear in real life, but clearly part of me would quite like to, I think. (video)

The something’s wrong voice

I've just realised how similar these two little scenes are.

This, literally the first words Aziraphale says to Crowley:

-Hello, it's me. Don't say anything. Are you there? -Should I say something now? -No. Meet me over the road from the bookshop.

and this, from their last conversation:

-What's that lovely human expression? Oh, yes. Hold that thought!

And we all remember how the first scene was immediately followed by this acknowledgement:

So, if Crowley knew something was wrong from Aziraphale's voice over the phone right in the middle of their precious, peaceful, fragile existence, wouldn't it be more than obvious to him in the final 15, right before their devastating exchange started. The difference being, of course, that this time Aziraphale literally couldn't tell him: he almost immediately started to stutter. It continues like this:

-I have some incredibly good news to give you. -Really? -I, um... So, uh, um.. The Metatron! <there is a pause and he continues>

And this 'Really?' is almost 'You're really trying to convince me it's good with your Something's Wrong voice?'. Which makes me certain that Crowley knew Aziraphale was in trouble and didn't believe Aziraphale was sincere about any of the 'Heaven is good' stuff. Which also doesn't mean that he agreed with his choice, of course.

What's important for me here is a clever and thoughtful Crowley, not just a heartbroken Crowley. Look at him right there, listening and watching Aziraphale with such attention:

I don't believe he missed any hints. I'm sure he'll put 2 and 2 together pretty quickly. This actually makes two clever supernatural beings working on a PLAN in s3. The only problem is they aren't talking.

Love all of your work and huge fan of good omens! When you were filming season 1 and 2 of good omens was there anyone on set who would try to get others to break character at times? Someone who really liked to crack jokes during takes? Would love to see blooper reels one day!

I think that if there had been such a person on set, Michael Sheen would have taken them for a long walk one night and we would never have seen them again.
