Hi I'm back again on my Edverse au shit PLEASE. check my previous posts to understand this

Here's the explanation of every single song on my Kurt playlist I made ✊ and yes a lot of the songs were released AFTER 2019, but ignore that. Who cares. (I do and that's why I am going to make a more time accurate playlist soon 😭)

- hope, Nintendo 64: this song reminds him of Lucas, and sometimes when he's feeling low he listens to it and imagines it's Lucas talking about him and how sad he is and convinces himself to not do anything Lucas wouldn't like

- Harvey, Francis forever, life glow: reminds him of Lucas

- Skeleton bones, trees: just general angst songs he feels he can relate to in some way, (going in depth on trees) He knows he has weird feelings towards guys, his fathers definitely an alcoholic (that one night vlog he posted makes me think this) and his moms spirituality explain the reason he likes this song

- Father, Like him: self explanatory, his dad makes him feel horrible about himself, even if he thinks he doesn't look or act or really even is him, it still haunts him

- TV: the first lyric speaks to him, and basically the entire song, what with everything he talked about in the draw my life

- Pretty boy: his older relatives at family reunions say he's pretty, and so this song makes him think of himself, and he definitely listens to this when he misses his grandma (grandma headcanons coming soon)

- Washing machine heart: he doesn't know why, but he likes this song. No particular reason

- Alien blues: self explanatory if you listen to the song. He connects with the lyrics a lot

- Crooked teeth: reminds him of high school when he had to wear braces, and even now his teeth aren't all that perfect, and yeah he doesn't connect with the lyrics that much but he doesn't care

- Normal, body, stop loving me: he doesn't get treated like he's normal, so these song make him feel like his feelings are normal (and yes he doesn't relate to the relationship thing, but that doesn't matter if someone inserts themselves into this AU)

- Overdose: unfortunately yes, Kurt does have thoughts like this.

- Kute: he doesn't know why he likes this, he just does

- Race: he doesn't know why, but it reminds him of his dad. Maybe because the song is a bit like the singer is talking to someone they dislike

- Pretend, break: makes him want to curl up into a ball on his "bed" (we all know it's just a mattress on the floor) and sob his eyes out. If only he didn't live with his mom who bugs him all the time.

- Sorry: reminds him of his dad, he would take him to the liquor store and make him stay in the car before coming back with his drinks and a bag of chips that he would throw to Kurt. Kurt always thought he was just a cool dad, until his parents divorced.

- I wait for you: reminds him a lot of Eddie for some reason. He always imagines what it'd be like to meet someone who treats him how Eddie did.

- 16 mirrors, oh klahoma: he likes these for no particular reason, he doesn't know why he put these on there

- Dinner is not over: same reason he put overdose on there. Helps him with his feelings, even if its just a bit.

- Better run: he likes the way this one sounds, reminds him a bit of Eddie

- Give me novacaine: he wishes he could feel numb, this song helps a bit.

- Burnout, Longview: exactly how he feels living with his mom.

- She: he relates, he just wishes the song wasn't about a girl so he could scream the lyrics at the top of his lungs.

- F.O.D: something he wishes he could say to his dad. Fuck off and die, he'd say, I hate you, he'd say.

- Teenage dirtbag: he's not a teenager anymore, but he swears he feels like it with how his mom treats him.

- Step on me: how he feels about his "friends" and his "fans"

- Gloom: oh how he wishes he could be this confident, especially when his stupid dad tries to hang out with him. He just wants to leave.

- First love/late spring: he likes Mitski. What else can he say?

- Scott Pilgrim vs my GPA: he likes this song. "Our old place" reminds him of the junkyard, his mom doesn't let him go there anymore.

- Death cup: angst, he just cries when he listens to this. He doesn't really know why. Maybe some lyrics remind him of his parents.

- Better than me: wishes he could relate. Even if he knows the relationship the song is talking about is probably not the best.

- Heartache: honestly, he wishes he had someone special.

- Be nice to me: he feels like he relates to the lyrics, he doesn't know though.

- Tears over beers: he had a crush on a girl in high school, but she didn't like him, she liked his friend. He always felt bad for her though, he felt guilty for not being able to protect her from his "friend," especially after he cheated on her. He kind of relates to the girl talked about on the song. He doesn't know why though.

- Re-do: he relates to the lyrics.

- Twin sized mattress: his mom and Cassandra would repeatedly invite him to their crystal Sessions and whatnot, saying it'll make him less like his dad. He ran away once because he hated it, but he quickly had to come running back.

- Lone star: he just likes the song

- Wait: somebody, please, wait for him. May God forgive him for what he wishes he could do to himself.

- Alligator skin boots: reminds him of when his mom was Catholic, and of when his dad would argue with his mom because the deacon would offer his support to them because his dad is an alcoholic. Yeah, it says pastor, but he doesn't really know the difference between Christianity and Catholicsm, he was only a Catholic for half of his middle and elementary school years.

- Bottom: he doesn't know why he likes this song

- Beachboy: he relates to a lot of the lyrics, especially since he always get overstimulated at the parties Bobby invites him to

- Australia: he hopes he never becomes like his dad.

- Creep: self explanatory.

- Class of 2013: he wishes he could rely on his mom for comfort. Like he used to.

- Sober to death: he likes the way this song sounds

- Heaven knows I'm miserable now, please, please, please, let me get what I want: his feelings in a song.

- Bigmouth strikes again: he likes the smiths enough to feel the need to add in another song

- Hate yourself: he likes TV girl lol

- The blonde: he feels like if he had blue eyes, blonde hair, and not as many moles on his skin, he wouldn't be this lonely. And maybe he'd get treated nicer.

- It almost worked: he relates to the song. He just wishes it wasn't about a girl, he feels kind of girly for relating.

- My alcoholic friends: he relates, what else can I say. Other than that he doesn't drink, but sometimes he wishes he did. Make it all numb.

- Animal: sometimes he tries to be mean, so Bobby will be nicer, but it never works.

- Flash mountain: he just likes the way it sounds

- Anime: he feels like this song was written about him

- The adults are talking: his dad says he looks like his mom, while his mom says he looks like his dad, now how does that work? He doesn't know how that's revelant, but some lyrics remind him of his parents.

- What do they know?: what does everybody else know that he doesn't? Why do people treat him like he's dumber?

- Molly, bitches: he just likes to be a bit edgy with songs like this

- 19-2000: he loves gorillaz, but this is his all time favorite.

- Heads will roll: he doesn't know how to dance, but he wishes he did

- Fine: makes him happy, and he likes to listen to this song when he's sad sometimes so he'll cheer up

- Stalkers tango: he knows he can get a bit weird when he gets a crush on someone

- I will follow him: he honestly just likes to imagine his fans like this song because they like him

- El muchacho de Los ojos tristes: one time a fan told him they remind him of this song, and he acted like that was weird, but he loves this song. He likes to listen to it when he tries to practice Spanish. He can understand what it says

- Impacto: he got into this after searching up Spanish songs on tiktok

- Piel canela: I'm telling you, Spanish songs got a grip on him for a good while

- Lovefool: love songs, what can I say?

- Scotty doesn't know: he just likes the way the song sounds

- Obsessed with you: he genuinely goes crazy when he gets a crush

- The distance: makes him try harder, especially when he doesn't really wanna stream, this makes him feel more determined. For his fans!

- Pretend were dead: just say no to individuality. Makes him feel less weird

Ok so if you guys saw my last post here's a visual as to what Eddie looks like, ignore my very bad drawing

Also this is middle school, and I did in fact draw Kurt.

Eddie wore a lot of bright colors, and he had that like high school musical white boy hair cut because he really wanted to fit in. He also very obviously struggles with saying some words, and I wrote him saying les because he most definitely says les instead of let's and Kurt most definitely has to correct him. (I have a fear of people calling me racist so before I get cancelled I'm Mexican and some words he can't say I am gonna base off the words I couldn't say when I was little ✊) Also Eddie's favorite color is in fact blue, and as we all know Kurt's is orange 😴

Kurt Kunkle AU I made up so I could imagine Kurt being happy and not dead

So basically, everything is the same except he actually has a pretty big following and The Lesson never happened. His fanbase is sort of like Case Oh's fanbase, where he has some actual nice fans who like him but it's mostly full of teenage boys who find it funny to make fun of him. It's rare to see any fans who actually like Kurt though, unlike Case Oh. (This is where anybody who likes Kurt can probably insert themselves into the au, I don't mind if people use it or change it a bit, the fandom is too small to be gate keeping!!!) Kurt gained attention seemingly out of nowhere, right before he came up with The Lesson. He got big, and got attention, so The Lesson wasn't even a thought that came up. Kurt is a regular streamer you can find basically anywhere, he plays video games, he vlogs, pretty normal stuff. In this universe Kurt is definitely Bisexual, or something along those lines. I say this because I did in fact add in an OC(?) that I'll get into in a bit. Kurt still doesn't get much attention from his parents, but it doesn't matter to him anymore, seeing as how he was getting attention from strangers on the internet. Now to that OC(?) I was talking about. Back in middle school, a foreign exchange student from Mexico came over to Azusa. His name was Eduardo Perez, and he was supposed to be in America until middle school ended, then he'd go back home. His trip was cut short due to financial issues with his family back home, so he only stayed for a year, but that was probably the best year of Kurt's life. Eduardo and Kurt became best friends, Eduardo would help Kurt with his Spanish, and Kurt would help Eduardo with his english. Kurt gave Eduardo his nickname, Eddie, after Eddie said he wanted an American name. Eddie had only noticed Kurt after he had done that whole dumpster stunt, and he had ended up visiting Kurt in the hospital. That's when they clicked. Kurt and Eddie would do everything together, and Eddie was the only friend Kurt ever had that never made fun of him. Even when Kurt would accidentally go on long rants about the things he liked. Or when Kurt's dad wouldn't show up for him, Eddie wouldn't call him fatherless, he wouldn't say anything. He just comforted him. Unfortunately though, everything good can't stay forever. Eddie left, but not without giving Kurt a friendship bracelet. And now, ten years later, he still wears it around. Yeah, it's broken a few times, but he's crafty, he can fix it. Eddie definitely impacted Kurt a lot, and yeah, he might've admired him a lot in a way he admired girls he had a crush on, but that doesn't matter. Kurt definitely is aware he liked Eddie in an odd way, but he wasn't going to acknowledge it. He still lives with his mom, but he's actively saving up for an apartment. His "fans" make fun of him for living with his mom, so he's hoping they'll be a bit nicer after he moves out. Plus, it's a great way to get out more content. Kurt posts on his YouTube weekly, and streams almost every day. He's also still a Spree driver, since it pays a good amount. Bobby is still around, and he's still not that nice, but now Kurt gets to hang out with him more! And Bobby invites him to his parties more, so that's a win!

That's basically the AU, idk what to call it, if anyone actually sees this and likes it and wants to come up with a name reply with a name or something idk how Tumblr works low key ✊
