His little girl is back..

Antonio used to have a daughter. A long time ago.

A runaway kid he took under his wing, she was smart, quick-witted and kind. She was the light in his life, and she was gone way too soon.

Painfully aware of her own mortality, she once said:

" After i die, burn my body and spread my ashes at sea. I don't want a grave that will tie you down."

As he watched the wind carry his daughter away, Antonio broke down.

He cursed at his body and his stubborn soul, at his immortality and his vices. He cursed God for giving him a taste of being human again, for mocking him and taking everything away at the end. His little girl, his niñita, was gone. They say there is no word for a parent who looses their child.

The moon, who had been looking down at him for centuries, took pity at his grieving heart.

A century later Kiran -his little girl- emerged from the sea, now a creature of moonlight and ocean waves.

I was feeling a bit nostalgic about campaign 2, so I thought I’d draw a little something

you know, the thing that make the Nein coming together as a party feel natural is just that. of course Jester would reel people in to become her friends (willingly or not) as they traveled. Of course she would. and she's so good at it, this girl is the superglue of friendships, if she decides she wants you, you CANNOT get away

I think there's something so nice about M9s post campaign being really... Small? Like Vox Machina were these massive legendary heroes and when we just saw them in C3 they were still living and working in really connected and important ways and that makes sense! But everyone in the Mighty Nein is just living their own quiet lives, people deep DEEP in the know understand what they've done but to everyone else (and themselves) they're just living. Starting a summer camp. Shipping goods. Teaching and taking care of loved ones. It's all the kind of stuff that doesn't make widespread impact but makes a huge difference to a handful of people and I think that's so emblematic of who they are and it makes me happy and I love these assholes so much.
