Wow...first ACTUAL post on this new blog, and it's about something bad happening...
So my family has YouTube TV, and Paramount is being difficult in "reaching an agreement" with YouTube TV and because of the failure to negotiate an agreement with them, Paramount is trying to remove all of its channels from YouTube TV effective today, February 13, meaning Nickelodeon and Nick Jr might be removed for good, as well as all my recordings from those channels...meaning I won't be able to watch and record PAW Patrol anymore. This is very upsetting to me because PAW Patrol is my comfort show and one of my special interests. Taking away something as important to me as that, while I'm ALREADY mentally spiralling and just NOT OKAY, will make things EVEN WORSE for me. I'm sick and tired of this, why can't Paramount just cooperate and keep their channels on YouTube TV like it does with all the cable companies??? I don't understand why this is happening to only YouTube TV specifically, but I hate it! And this is happening a month after YouTube TV hiked their prices up again, making the whole thing unfair, as Paramount owns a ton of channels, meaning we won't be able to watch and record WAY more stuff than just PAW Patrol. We can't afford cable and we certainly can't afford every streaming service out there, the only things we have on our Firestick are YouTube TV and Netflix because that's all we can afford. And I hate that everything is on streaming services nowadays because it means nothing is on TV anymore. Ah well, ain't nothin' I can do about it, so I guess I just gotta suck it up and find other ways to watch PAW Patrol...
