Missed Connection

Even as a greenhorn kunoichi Sakura had found the idea of his core fascinating. Sasori obviously hadn’t taxidermized himself, not like his human puppets. That theory had been scrapped when he transferred his whole consciousness into another puppet at will. Long after the battle it had her thinking ‘could it work with any vessel?’ Could there be a work around using chakra alone and not the human heart too?

It was a medical marvel truly. Imagine the possibilities if a patient required a type of major surgery that was so intricate, so complicated it could be made easier by temporarily transferring their consciousness to a prosthetic. It could ease both stress and anxiety for the patient too, not to mention the resources required to sedate them. Patients seldom listened to their doctor’s orders for rest and rehab either, often leading to setbacks. Separating the mind in order to better heal the original body. To her, the practical uses were endless.

As a part of the war effort, she poured over scrolls and ancient textbooks from Suna, but found no possible avenue he might have taken to conceptualize his method. Sasori was the only one that knew how it worked, but this time he was gone for good. Typical.

(During moments of introspection all she thinks is ‘what a waste.’ So much of his knowledge had died with him that second time. Generations of medics and interrogators alike would’ve benefitted, could have reinvented, built upon the results of his work, and any future breakthroughs would still lead back to him. He was a seasoned veteran shinobi in both puppets and poisons, a bona fide polymath. With his experience, he probably knew the medicinal properties and potential uses for every plant in the world.)

She’s an adult now, a top runner in the medical field, the best since Tsunade herself. Sarada’s well on her way to becoming Hokage. Sakura still wishes she could ask him how he did it.

how come every single 0 personality PROP OF A CHARACTER got to have a meaningful reunion/fight with a foe or mentor or relative yet SAKURA ONE OF THE THREE!!! MCS on the show had to stand around looking STUPID during team kakashis fight against zabuza which she also in p1 DID NOT CONTRIBUTE TO ALL THAT MUCH!!!! naruto got to meet nagato and sasuke got to meet itachi what did the sakura stans get paid?? DUST exactly

not even a reunion with chiyo like??? she was the only one crying over her corpse and they spent the most time together on screen CHIYO WAS GENIUNELY A MENTOR TO SAKURA THEY RISKED THEIR LIVES FOR EACH OTHER!!! and not even PIERROT decided to let them meet LIKE????? 

also not to mention how come kankuro in the manga pretends he was there in the fight he couldnt even have KNOWN this shit also sasori had zero reason to respect him ??? she should have been giving that speech at the very least... this absolute SABOTAGE...i will never forgive kishimoto his stupid editor and pierrot for this DAY LIGHT ROBBERY
