It took a long, long time. Levi was stubborn and so were you. It started when you transfered over to help him after finding out Eren was a titan. Your job was mostly to survey the kid but you had a second job in studying the way titans are. You were young, but brilliant and that's why you had the title you did. Not as young as the kids you helped, but younger than Levi, enough for him to judge your ways. He likes old school, you like to change his ways.

Of course you and Hange immediately clicked. Sharing notes and research papers, it was a full on party every time you two were alone together. Levi broke that party up every time, complaining that you two should be working and not gossiping. It was the day Hange asked if he was jealous and the blush crept onto his cheeks that you fell for him. He always had a stern attitude but in that moment you saw how kind he was, how vunerable he could be.

So, you began to hang around him more. Eventually, you confessed. He stared at you for a solid minute and each second that passed you wondered if you had broken him. Eventually he gave the excuse that you were too young and needed to grow up. He flicked your forehead on the way out. But that didn't really stop you. You didn't bug him about it and he didn't seem to mind when you hung around him. The two of you became close. The crush you had on him didn't make it awkward and about a month into your friendship you had even made him laugh.

Levi found you attractive the second you appeared at the training camps. He found you even more attractive when he noticed how passionate you were about your work. But he couldn't bring himself to confess to you or do anything about it. Afterall, he figured you wouldn't like someone as old as him. However, when you confessed he had been so shocked he gave out his excuse. He knew it would be a problem in the future, the age gap. Levi beat himself up for it when he made it back to his room.

Regardless of the long time it took, the two of you ended up dating. It happened after he flat out kissed you in the middle of the woods on a mission. A month into dating, Levi's fears began to come true.

Your friend, Gerald, had been sent to accompany your studies. He had grew up with you and was your age. That's exactly what Levi feared. He watched from afar as the two of you laughed together and worked together. A week of it was torture already.

"So, Y/n." Gerald leaned forward, you looked up from the sketch of the titan you were drawing. A label sat on each of the important parts of the anatomy of the titan. "Do you think we should go out into the woods? Maybe look at the wildlife and how they react when Eren transforms?"

"Hm." You hummed, tapping your pencil on your cheek. "That might be a good idea. I should ask Levi if Eren is available this afternoon." You smiled at him, getting up from your seat and tapping him on the shoulder as you stepped over to the table that Levi was working on.

"Hey-"

"What do you want." Levi's voice was cold, emotionless. You furrowed your brows, taken back by his tone.

"Are you okay?" You asked, worried something might have happened.

"Do I need to repeat myself?" Levi sighed. This wasn't like him. He was never this snappy towards you of all people. You shook your head and grabbed his arm tightly. He looked up at you, an emotionless expression.

"Outside. Now." You yanked on his arm and began walking outside, Levi following. Once out of the room you let go of his arm, turning on your heel to face him. "What is wrong with you? Why are you talking to me like that?"

"Nothing is wrong. This is how I always talk." Levi shrugged, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall. "If you have a problem why don't you ask Gerald."

The moment he said his name the gears began turning in your mind. "Are you jealous?" You blurted out the conclusion you came to. He had to be.

He was. His silence said it all.

"Levi...I'm dating you, and Gerald is just a work buddy."

"Yeah but he's your age." Levi muttered lowly. You almost laughed, but held it in once you realized he was serious.

"Wait- you think I want to date Gerald just because he's my age?" You asked. "Levi. I'm dating you. I know we have a gap in our age but that doesn't make me love you any less."

Levi looked up at you at your words. His eyes a little wider than before. His lips parted as if he wanted to say something but no words came out.

"What?" You grew confused at his reaction.

"You said you love me?" He asked. There it was, his vunerable side that you fell in love with. You nodded slowly. He smiled that small smile of his. "I do too. I'm sorry about earlier, I just figured if I was rude you'd be okay with leaving me for him."

You smiled back shaking your head at him.

"Oh, and Eren is free, go ahead." Levi said, pushing himself off the wall.

"How'd you know? Were you ease dropping?"

"No, you just talk loud."

He was definitely ease dropping.

Pairing: Kenma x Reader

Summary: Kenma gets sick and takes a day off to recover.

A/N: This occurs when you guys are adults working and living together in an apartment

You always woke up before Kenma, got ready, made breakfast and left a little note for the tired man that still slept soundly. Usually you'd write what he can do while you're gone if he's bored of work. Sometimes he stays home since there's no need to go in and during those times he usually sleeps in. Regardless, you didn't mind.

As you double checked your bag, to make sure everything you needed for work was in there, you heard a small snore emitting from your shared bedroom. A small smile crept onto your face as you put down your bag and keys and slowly walked over to the slightly open door and pushed it open. Kenma was peacefully sleeping, his arms around your pillow. He normally holds you but once you get up you have to expertly replace your body with a pillow or he'll wake up. His brows furrowed, his mouth parted slightly as light snores escape. Kenma wasn't a big snorer, only on days he was exhausted.

You contemplated taking a picture, but thought against it. His sixth sense would go off and you'd have a grumpy Kenma to deal with. You decided to instead tip toe up to his side of the bed and leave a small kiss upon his cheek.

"I love you too." Kenma grumbled, almost as if he was sleep talking- which he did pretty often. You couldn't tell if he was awake or not but he continued snoring so you made your swift exit and went to work.

After a long and exhausting day at work, you fumbled with your keys in the apartment door. You had been wanting to come home earlier, concerned when you never received a text from Kenma saying he made it to work. Perhaps he was working from home today. You finally managed to open the door and noticed how quiet the apartment was. Concern began creeping into your mind.

"Kenma?" You stepped inside, shutting the door behind you. You placed your bags on the kitchen island, seeing your note from the morning untouched. "Hm."

You didn't bother taking off your shoes as you stepped towards the bedroom, pushing the door open slightly. A lump laid in your shared bed. Kenma.

"Kenma? Are you okay?" You reached up to the top of the blanket, pulling it down slightly to reveal Kenma's tired face. He blinked slowly, red coating his nose and cheeks. A fever. You placed the back of your hand against his forehead, feeling the heat radiating off of him before you even touched his skin.

"Kenma honey, you're sick." You whispered, brushing his hair from his forehead and leaning down to place a kiss upon the redness. "Why didn't you text me? I would've come home early."

"Didn't wanna bother." Kenma mumbled. He wasn't his usual self, the fever making him tired. You sighed, knowing you would've done the same if you were sick.

"Okay, let me get you some medicine." You gave him another kiss to which he grumbled something about you getting sick from him. You rushed to the kitchen grabbing the proper pills and a wet towel. You came back to the room, Kenma a little more awake now. You placed the wet towel upon his forehead. He sighed instantly, closing his eyes in content. He pulled his hand out from under the covers, holding it out. You placed the pills in his palm and he took them.

"Thank you." Kenma mumbled, eyes still closed as he laid there. He never liked asking for help when he was sick. You two were similar in that way, and you both got mad at the other when neither of yiu said anything.

"Get some rest, I'll make dinner." You kissed his forehead for a third time and he nodded, his soft snores starting up again.

You cooked and ate your own dinner as Kenma was still sleeping. When he woke he looked better, but still trudged into the kitchen with a blanket wrapped around him and tissue stuffed into his nose. He ate and you sat with him and discussed your day. Some drama with coworkers that you needed to catch him up on.

Once the day was over both of you showered and then went to bed as usual. In the morning you woke, a little tired than normal, but got up and got ready. You'd just finished changing when you realized the man that sleeps beside you wasn't in bed. You were confused by the lack of Kenma.

You stepped out into the rest of the apartment, spotting him sitting at the dining room table. Eggs, bacon, and toast sat on a plate for you and him. A small smile made it's way to your lips. It was his way of saying thank you for taking care of me.

It started as your day off. Sleeping in, ordering breakfast to be delivered to your door, and queuing up your favorite TV show, ready to catch up on the latest episode. As you were munching down on your breakfast sandwich, a knock came at the door. Furrowing your brows you stood and wiped your mouth as you opened the door without hesitation. You should have hesitated.

In front of you stood Gojo, with a wide smile, holding up various boxes of board games. Behind Gojo stood Nanami, the same annoyed expression he always had around Gojo. You blinked, once, then twice, then slammed the door.

"Hey!" Gojo yelled as if it was him you had hit, which would've been impossible. You failed at being fast enough to lock the door and Gojo opened it himself. "Y/n why are you so grumpy today?"

"Me?" You raised your eyebrows as dramatically as you could. "Oh I don't know, maybe because its my day off? Maybe because I wanted to be alone on my day off? Sorry, did I mention its my day off?"

Gojo definitely didn't have the day off. Ever since he had those 3 kids under his supervision he hasn't had a day off. Nanami, on the other hand, probably did actually have a day off. You didn't mind either of their company, but having to work with them all week and then see them now did bother you just slightly.

"Good morning Y/n." Nanami greeted, stepping through the door. "This was my idea..."

"Can you believe it? He actually had a good idea for once!" Gojo pointed at Nanami as if presenting him for you. You furrowed your brow.

"What idea?" You asked, walking over to your breakfast sandwich and taking another bite.

"You were talking all week saying you missed the games you used to play as a kid." Nanami explained in his monotone voice. "So we found them, as a thank you."

"Thank you?" You questioned.

"You're welcome." Gojo winked and you gave him a face of dissapointment. He placed the board games on your dining table and slung an arm around your shoulders. "Come on Y/n you talked about this all week, just one game."

You looked at Gojo who wore his goofy smile and then at Nanami who gestured towards the table. You scanned over the boxes, recognizing almost all of them. Mousetrap, Monopoly, UNO, and Scrabble. You always had a soft spot for these two men in your living room. You let out a long sigh, throwing your hands up in defeat.

"Fine."

"Yes! Let's start with strip Scrabble." Gojo spoke as he grabbed the Scrabble box and shook it.

"No." Nanami and you spoke at the same time.

"You're right, we'll play it last. Ok then Mousetrap." Gojo began opening the box, probably more excited to play than you or Nanami. While Gojo set up the game Nanami turned to you.

"This is a thank you for always being there for us. I know I complain about wanting a vacation but you really pulled through this week." Nanami placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. You didn't look up at him, just at Gojo as he fumbled with the pieces. If you looked at him you might have melted into butter right there and then. He knew this and didn't question your lack of response.

"Let me do it granny." You sighed walking over to Gojo and grabbing the various pieces from his hands. "Come on Nanami let's be on a team."

"Hey, there are no teams in this game." Gojo complained, grabbing the instructions to cite his sources.

The three of you began to play the game, slowly building up the elaborate mousetrap. Eventually it was built and Gojo was the first to be trapped who then began complaining about teaming. He fake cried into your shoulder for the rest of the game.

Next was UNO. A few rounds and Nanami had raged saying there were other games to play. He was only upset that you and Gojo continuously stacked plus two's onto him.

Around this time you decided to order dinner. It was late so the three of you started Monopoly. You had explained how to play the quick version of Monopoly but somehow you endedup playing until 3AM. Somehow money and properties had gotten mixed up and there was no clear winner.

Gojo and Nanami packed up. Gojo was reluctant because according to him you had stalled with Monopoly long enough to not play Strip Scrabble. You offered them to stay the night but they had work in the morning and left around 4AM. You had finally plopped down onto your couch, your show still waiting to be played. One episode, you had decided.

You fell asleep one minute in.

No one knew you were pregnant until you started showing. Levi wasn't one to announce it and you had only told Hange because you broke down crying one day in front of them for no reason and they didn't know what to do. The hormones probably gave it away to most people, but they never said anything if they knew. However, once you had a giant belly everyone knew. The scouts in Levi's squad wouldn't let you do anything and if you were out training them, they listened to your every command and did everything as quickly as they could so you could go back inside instead of standing out in the heat. You honestly didn't mind the treatment especially as the months went on and you could barely bend down to pick up anything you'd dropped.

Levi's treatment towards you was especially caring. He didn't care if the squad saw him worry about you, but he tried to keep his composure when you were doing something risky.

"Okay! Can we line up please?" You shouted out at the scouts before you. They stopped their sit ups and moved to line up. As they did, Armin trudged his way over to you, his hands folded in front of him, a nervous look on his face.

"Uh- Y/n. Are you sure you'll be okay today?" Armin asked in a low voice. You gave him a small smile and nodded, a hand on your stomach.

"Yes Armin I'll be okay. Levi should be out here any minute to take over anyways." He had just ran to the stables to make sure everything was ready to take the squad out on the horses.

"I don't think you should really be out here it's kind of hot today and being pregnant and all..." Armin shown concern in his face. You simply smiled and shook your head.

"I'll be okay, go in line now." You nudged him slightly to get in line. As he turned, reluctantly so, to walk back towards the line you felt an odd sensation, immediately putting a hand to your stomach as you let out a deep breath.

"What happened?" Eren yelled from his place in line. They didn't care about staying in line as every single one of them rushed over to you, their faces full of concern.

"Is the baby coming?" Jean exclaimed, eyes wide with what seemed like fear. You looked up at all of them and couldn't help but laugh.

"No guys. It's just a kick." You shook your head. It was then that Levi pushed his way through the squad to get to you, his eyes wide.

"What? What happened." His eyes scanned over you as you simply waved him off. You reached over taking his hand in yours and placing it on your stomach. The baby kicked again and his eyes widened in shock.

"Can I feel?" Jean spoke up from behind Levi. Levi's loving expression turned hard and he turned around.

"No. And just for asking run laps. Everyone." Levi snapped. The squad groaned and started a slow jog. "That's not running." Levi yelled at them before turning towards you.

You were simply smiling at him. His expression softened again before something clicked in his head and he put on a straight face. He did this when he tried to be demanding with you. Emphasis on tried.

"You're not doing trainings anymore. You're getting too close to your due date. Inside work only. And sitting, lots of sitting." He spoke soft yet commanding. You couldn't help but laugh.

"Awh...you're cute when you're trying to be assertive." You leaned forward leaving a small kiss on his cheek. "I'm fine Levi. It's not like I'm going to be out here next month when I'm due."

He narrowed his eyes knowing fully that you wouldn't listen.

Sure enough, when your due date had finally arrived, you were in the middle of the woods, with Levi and his squad, on horseback. He resisted the urge to tell you he told you so until a week later.

Summary: Levi in the aftermath of deciding to pick Armin over Erwin.

Warnings: Angst

You knew something was wrong, how could you not. You were there. You were there when it happened, fighting alongside the others. You witnesses Erwin- it was too painful to think about. Everything had happened so quickly after the impact. And after Armin...well, Levi was broken. You had known about the choice Levi had to make, but wasn't there to witness it. Instead you were tending to other duties, there were hands needed to calm down the people who had no idea what had just happened.

It was as dark as night when you had finally been able to trudge your way home. Nothing felt real after today, after the amount of death that occured, the amount of tragedy was too much. But your concern about the days activities wasn't on yourself, but Levi. He had to make a tough decision today.

You walked into the building that housed the bedrooms of the commanders and higher ups, where you and Levi resided. The door to yours and Levi's dwelling was cracked open. Odd. You pushed the wooden door open fully, revealing an empty room lit only by a candle by the bedside table. Your brows furrowed.

"Levi?" You spoke in almost a whisper, wondering if he was here at all. No answer.

"He's out at the stables." A soft voice spoke behind you. You weren't startled, too tired to get scared right now. You turned meeting Hange's sad eyes. Hange was recovering as well. You offered a small smile and patted Hange's shoulder in a small thanks.

You closed the door and walked over to the stables. There was candlelight illuminating one of the horses pens. You slowly stepped up, seeing Levi standing by the horse, fingers fumbling trying to take the saddle off. His hand shook. Your heart filled with sadness as you stood there, unnoticed. He was too far into his own head he couldn't have noticed you.

"Levi. My love, what are you doing?" You spoke softly not to startle him. He didn't react, continuing to mess with the straps on the horse. You took a few steps closer, standing beside him as you placed a hand on top of his. Only then did he look at you. His face shone the same expressionless mask he always wore. His eyes, however, softened at the sight of you.

"I was heading to bed right now." He muttered, nudging your hand off of his as he finally undid the saddle.

"Levi." You whispered, grabbing his hands in yours again. You didn't know what to say, what you could possibly say to make him feel better. Your hands moved up his arms to cup his face, thumbs rubbing against his cheeks. He stared at you, saddness finally shown on his face. "I'm sorry, I know you-"

"Don't." He sighed. He reached up and grabbed your hand, moving to leave a small kiss in your palm. "It's been done. Let's just...can we just go to sleep."

You nodded. Neither of you spoke as you walked back towards the bedroom the two of you shared. Levi had gotten into bed, closing his eyes and placing an arm over his face. He was tired, not only physically but mentally. You laid next to him, turning to face him.

"You don't want to talk about it, do you?"

He shook his head in response.

"I get it. I do. What will make you feel better?" You furrowed your brow, getting frustrated you couldn't help the one you loved.

"Nothing." He muttered, letting out another sigh. "Just be here. Be safe." Levi wouldn't voice his concerns, but after watching someone close to him die, he couldn't help but think about the time he has left with you. He didn't want to see you after the whole ordeal. He knew you'd been hurting just as he had. Just having you alive and well, it was enough to make him feel a little better.

You understood immediately when he said to be safe. After that night, for a month, you didn't leave Levi's side. It was more for his peace of mind than yours. He enjoyed the company, but soon enough when everyone had finally healed from the tragedy that occured the teasing from his squad began. You didn't mind it and you knew Levi didn't either. After he yelled at them to mind their business he would always have a small smile that only you noticed. You were glad to be there for him. To comfort him.

Hugs with Tendou were constant. If he was near you his arms were around you. Once you two started dating it was evidently obvious because Tendou wouldn't leave your side unless he absolutely had to.

Tendou always knew when you had a bad day. Its almost as if he sensed it and gave you an extra long hug. Once day, you'd completely failed a test and walked with him to lunch completely defeated. He was rambling about volleyball practice the whole way to your locker. Once you'd arrived and unlocked it, he tapped your shoulder. You turned and he had a soft smile on his lips. He immediately embraced you into a giant warm hug. It took you a moment to hug him back and when you wrapped your arms around him he pulled you closer. He pulled you back only to graze his lips on your forehead. A warmth spread throughout your body as a small smile formed on your lips.

"There it is." He mumbled and kissed your forehead one more time before letting you go. As loud and somtimes obnoxious as Tendou can be, he was very caring and knew when to quiet down. Since you'd started smiling again he continued his rant about practice.

Sometimes when you are in a playful mood you'll deny him the hug he wants. He'll pout and call you mean. He knows you're messing around but sometimes it worries him that he's a little too clingy. However you always end up giving in and squeezing him with all your might.

Occasionally, Tendou gets in a mood. He'll become frustrated or upset about something he's practicing and can't master. Most of the time after school ends Tendou has practice. You'll usually hang out in the bleachers doing homework, but today was a little different. Tendou continuously slipped up, missing the volleyball by an inch or messing up his block. You could tell he was frustrated but couldn't interrupt practice. You had immediately put all your stuff away and waited patiently until practice was over. He didn't rush over to you once everyone was packing up like he usually does, he kept practicing. You shook your head and got up from your seat, walking over to him. His back was to you. You walked up and wrapped your arms around his waist, pressing your cheek into his back. He immediately relaxed into your touch, melting as if he was butter in your hands.

"Practice tomorrow. Come on, you can come over and we can watch that movie you want to see." You spoke into his back. He sighed and nodded even though you could see. Tendou twisted in your arms, turning to face you. He reached down and placed his hands to cup your face, tilting your head up. He leaned down placing a gentle kiss on your forehead, then the tip of your nose, then your lips. You pulled him closer, melting into the kiss. He pulled away and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into his chest. One of his hands sat on your back while the other held the back of your head.

"Are you sure? Its a scary movie." He asked.

"Yeah, you'll be there to protect me." You mumbled into his chest this time. He laughed and it seemed as if your hug had cured his sadness as he returned back to himself and began talking about the movie, spoiling the previous movies in the series. He spoke as you two walked out of the gym.
