So it turns out I don't enjoy a multimuse blog like I thought I would, so characters will be moving away.
Sasuke @blindsighted (changeover from a side blog so it might take a minute to work)
Anakin @ignobleknight
Inuyasha @hanyo-inu-yasha

Sasuke is so kind and compassionate and that's why he has to become cold to survive.

Some doodles of me and @hyperfis blorbos.
we have a long running concept of a multidimensional boarding house, within which we discovered many Pokémon partner pair ups. There are some of my favorites.
This is also the first time I’ve drawn Davey or Bob

Just considering the dystopic possibilities of going full tilt into Boruto being a bad ending for them. This is about Sasuke;
At the end of the war, Sasuke is shakin and his faith in himself has been obliterated. He no longer believes himself capable of making the right choice and it cripples his ability to think for himself. He is lost and alone, more than ever, and who is there to comfort him and tell him it's alright...? Who has always been there? Naruto. Obviously. But also Sakura. Sakura is the key to his normal future with a wife and child and she is there to accept him and forgive him. He needs that. He does love her as a friend and he thought he could make it work. But it turns out he can't go back to living a lie after all, so he runs away (it's all he knows to do) and throws himself into his work and protecting the village as an atonement for trying to destroy it. And he ends up in this loveless and strained marriage with Sakura and the kid who reminds him of all his failures

not to play favorites but Hiei was my first serious fixation and I still love him as dearly as I did when I first laid eyes on his sincere desire for companionship and trust. I liked him already as a villain and the eyes I mean ??? C'mon. Amazin. But it was in the castle of the four saint beasts when Yusuke says those words, "I trust you," and you can SEE how Hiei's eyes light up and that SMILE as he is about to unquestioningly save his new pals. This is the first time he was trusted. Kurama has allied with him but they didn't trust each other like that. It was a tentative alliance built on a common desire. Not a blatant and irrational show of faith in a man you have only known as an enemy, a man who promises to kill you later. And Yusuke called his bluff. And Hiei never forgot that either...

Maybe Hiei has had a bit of a suicidal streak, like we see when he tells Mukuro his story, but I think here it's not that exactly.
I always felt like he is there to have Yusuke's back no matter what, because who is it that is always coming through for him?
And why shouldn't he? Yusuke was the first person to really trust him. Yusuke saved his life a long time ago, and I think he is still trying to pay him back for it.
i think a lot about hiei's suicidal streak after the dark tournament and the fact that both he and koenma STICK AROUND when yusuke COULD die and kill all of them

Just when he'd begun to think she actually wanted to get to know him a little better, her hesitation won out, and Inuyasha got entirely the wrong idea. He folds his hands tightly into his sleeves and huffs, scowling severely at the dark.
"Yeah sure, I'll ferget about it..." he says sullenly. "Wouldn't want you losin' sleep over me, anyway..." It's bitter, but honest.
"Yeah... Guess so..." Inuyasha mumbles, looking down at the ground in front of him. He doesn't know what to call that electric sensation buzzing inside his chest, urging him to remain alert, and promising misfortune if he can't. It's a feeling he's known all his life, but everything feels worse on nights like these.
"You can lean on me, if you get tired..." He offers tentatively, fighting off his own anxieties.

All Inuyasha could think in that moment- was how fucking stupid it would be to die this way. He was never one to believe in any higher power, but in those ill-fated seconds, as the sun faded into darkness and the silver in his hair turned blacker than the night, he prayed this wouldn't be the end.
And whatever Gods were out there must have heard his plea, for a moment later, he was released, left to sputter and cough in the dirt.
There is a voice inside his head that speaks of fear, reminds him of the trembling in his legs and the weakness of his hand, but Inuyasha chooses to ignore it. He swallows down hard against the sore lump building in his bruised throat.
" The only reason I didn't kill you before, is I ain't a fuckin' coward like you! So go ahead and do it!! Take me out when I'm no longer a threat! See how well you live with your miserable self after that!"
That was better, HATRED was familiar. Naraku's lips parted to a wicked smile, all fangs and sharpened teeth. His gamble would surely have paid off, to catch his greatest foe during his moment of weakness. To relish as his claws dug into his neck and ripped deep, watching as the life fades from his eyes. With victory so close at hand, he should be over the moon, he should be rejoicing in his victory.
So why wasn't he?
Why could he only remember those warm golden eyes offering him the briefest understanding? Why, of all moments did he think of that? The mere memory was enough to make Naraku's hand burn, and he recoiled from the human as if he were made of fire. A hand grasped at his own wrist, trying to still the shaking.
The demons writhed beneath his skin, sensing Naraku's internal turmoil and attempting to use the moment to escape. They are brought to heel through his force of will. No. Not yet, not yet.
And, with all pretenses of superiority and faux arrogance cast aside, the truth is laid bare. Naraku glares at Inuyasha as the hateful, spiteful creature that he really was. A profound darkness clouds his scarlet eyes.
" You truly have gone mad, Inuyasha. You choose to provoke me during this night? Did you think your little act of mercy is enough to protect you from me? You are more of a fool than I thought. "

"Yer just not try'n hard enough," Inuyasha coughs, grinning through gritted teeth and bared fangs.
An orange glow spreading over the horizon spells disaster's approach, as this is the first of the month, the moonless night. But this fact of life, his ever present cycle of weakness and helpless frailty, has never once stopped Inuyasha from fighting. If anything, his bristling only intensifies, and though this haughty attitude will surely get him killed someday, he cannot fathom living without his pride.
He forces a growl from his constricted throat and braces a hand at Naraku's wrist, gripping with all his diminished might. "Go on-" he chokes, spending what precious breath he has left on goading his enemy. "Harder-"
