Summary: reader is merlin's sibling who has been jealous of his powers, and is tired of being second best.
a/n this is kinda a miscellaneous x reader, im planning on making this a series and more of the reader and morgana interacting? this is kinda the start/teaser? i'm not sure if I'm a good enough writer too make this a series!
warnings: perhaps triggering depictions of poison, mental breakdown, ooc Gaius, and jealousy!
being merlin’s normal sibling was never easy, everyone who knew of his magic found him extraordinary. and for a long time so did you.
Your first year in Camelot he got the job as Arthur’s servant, after saving him for the first time -using magic- he was generously given the job as the insufferable princes man servant, and simultaneously leaving you in the dust.
whilst he got everything, friends, found family, praise from druids, and dragons. it got to you, you were never truly mentioned in his destiny, only that you were practically unimportant, the unnecessary, unneeded, side character. and it hurt, t hit you a little harder every time someone would come to you, about merlin. and how he had the guts to stand up to arthur all the time, and how they wanted to be like him.
