You should infodump your thoughts about Alabaster

(This has been in my drafts forever because I forgot to post it, srry for that)

Being completely honest, i don't think that i have many headcanons about him, less headcanons that aren't common , but i'll do my best

- He's was made of piece of alabaster

some of his scars take the actual texture of the mineral when the wounds that cause it were healed extremely fast by magical methods, so most of his potentially lethal wounds are the ones that looks like that

Those things are in fact annoying, surprisingly they aren't rigid enough to bother his movement and he has gotten used to the feeling so is not particularly uncomfortable for him, but if you look hard enough or see them in the sun o way too obvious that isn't skin, so hes forced to cover all of them

Add that a lot are concerning due for the places they are ,so the people would start to aks questions, the most visible ones are in his arm and neck, the arm one is easy to made up something to say why is there, but the neck one is a way to obvious a attempt of cutting his throat that can't be excused by any medical procedure or a no crazy situation

- a classic one, he's British

This is related to the canteens of alabaster that are in the zone and all the old history of alabaster sculptures that were made there before the British revolution? Yeah, it is. ( ironically this is not the same type of Alabaster that probably his name refers to, but is too good for me not to use it sorry)

- Relationship with his father? Complicated

Cornelius Torrington was a complicated man, to say the least. and his parenting reflected that. Is not like the man was negligent or abusive with his son. In fact, his father loved him a lot, but hey- people love and care for trophies too. Maybe some part of him actually loved Alabaster as a father does to a son, but is not like it really matters when most of the time he only saw his son as a prize given for impressing a goddess.

He was a very judgemental man, good at selling the image of being someone sweet and smart. Below that, he was someone who thought that anyone "Below his level" was no better than a bug. In his eyes, or you are someone exceptional and valuable or you're nothing, and that you should always be looking to reach more in your life. He raised Al under such beliefs, which was the first stone on how later In his life he would become so good at magic. Luckily, Al barely has a watered-down version of those ideas when it comes to how he sees other people, but it is definitely something he has pretty internalized when it comes to how he perceives himself or in the fact that he's quite power hungry.

Also, maybe he has a problem with no questioning his father enough. His memories about the man are really pink tinted, and he doesn't dare to question anything of what his father said or did. For Alabaster, the man was perfect and his personal hero when he was a little kid , and he's planning on keeping that idea of him for as long as he can.

I don't think that i can stretch enough how much of a ethabaster shipper Mr Nakamura is ( the man can't adopt Alabaster so he needs him to get married into the family)

no, cecil and will did not dress themselves, lou was the genius behind their outfits. if left to their own devices, cecil would have gone to the mall dressed like the chosen (katana included) and will would look like a hibiscus bush threw up all over a suburban father.
