hello again! i keep saying that i won’t come to this blog again yet i still do.
anyhow, a friend has brought to my attention that some people in the fandom are demanding good money for translating an interview i’ve already translated 5 years ago. if i knew that you can get mula for this worthless, hard effort, things would have been much different, but alas, i was 18 and did everything out of good intentions.
back to the subject. i’ve gotten a few messages from people asking me to translate this and that, and i never replied to them (sorry) but this changes everything.
if you, perchance, want something translated - be it interviews, reviews, written or taken on camera - feel free to contact me here via message or chat or on [email protected].
i will need you to provide with either the text or audio/video interview. if it’s in text format, i need the text to be intelligible.
in case of text, if you don’t have it, i can procure the magazine it was published in if it’s available on amazon.co.jp for the full price + shipping (if necessary, albeit usually it isn’t).
i don’t know if anyone would be interested so i will keep my price-list private untill i can make out a pattern, but i will not charge as much as the other people, so i won’t be going over 100,000 yen for sure.
i am open to translation work even if it does not concern buck-tick! any other bands, manga/anime character books etc is also fine
i am also available for freelance translation work for any texts as long as they’re not too term-specific and of a specific area of expertise.
the languages i can work with are japanese, english, russian and romanian.
please refrain from posting my already existing translations anywhere else. link to them instead.
please feel free to contact me for any additional questions!
reblogs would be very appreciated

I know you're probably not going to see this but I wanna say thank you. I just got into Buck-Tick a couple months ago (I know, very late) and I wouldn't have without your blog. You have so many pages worth of amazing B-T stuff that I wouldn't have been able to find anywhere else. I would have been clueless without your blog and I just want to say thanks again.
a yr or so late but thank you! actually a lot of content on this blog is dubious at best and straight up rude at worst (getting involved with various yellow press stuff and stealing from the jp fandom) which i feel guilty for but oh well. i planned on deleting it but more than one person asked me to just leave it be as an archive which i did. im not into b-t that much anymore, sure i buy their albums and will go to lives if they’re nearby (i moved to japan in 2014) but otherwise the ardour i had while running this blog is long dead. im not though, i have a personal blog etc
but im glad that i helped you in your journey. thank you for this message.

randomly remembered that this blog exists and logged in for the first time in the longest while and decided to write a text post :)
i would have deleted it a long time ago but a few people asked me to leave it as an archive so that’s what i’m gonna do. it is discontinued. this is probably the last time i’m logging in.
a lot of things have happened ever since i left the Buck-Tick fandom, the funniest is that i actually managed to see them live once - last year during Luna Sea fest. it was a long day, but i managed to see a lot of wonderful artists - Buck-Tick themselves, Luna Sea, Glay, MUCC, Issay, minus - including the late and indefinetly talented morioka ken, which was one of his last shows, perhaps. i still can’t forgive myself for missing the joint live of minus and hirasawa susumu (whose musical work is a living miracle, i recommend giving it a shot) in february. i also joined fish tank and am going to see buck-tick again this week.
it wasn’t meant as a bragging session, but incidentally i stumbled across a post in which a fan was being sad that they’re never going to see them live. i started listening to them in 2011 and back then had ABSOLUTELY no clue that i’ll get the chance to see them, not to mention OFTEN, so the bottom line is - you never know what happens. at the end of the day BT is a wonderful band and imo they’re worth all the trouble if you think that’s what’s gonna make you happy.
anyway as i mentioned i’m not gonna pick this blog up again, nor am i going to answer the messages that have piled up all this time (my apologies, unironically). i hope all the people i used to be close to here but have fallen out with are doing well, and everyone else too, for that matter. it was a fun time.
